FOODTTRIP(183): Zaika House of Kebabs and Shawarma Marikina

I've always visited ALMOST every food spots in Lilac Marikina so I was looking for a NEW restaurant to try when suddenly I came across Zaika House of Kebabs and Shawarma near Lilac Street. I've bee been to the old restaurant at this same place years ago and it feels nostalgic to visit here now in with a different food spot. 
 
Zaika House of Kebabs and Shawarma serves Indian and Mediterranean dishes adapted for Filipino palette. 

Anyway, this place is like an old house turned into a food place. There is a nice outdoor area and air-conditioned indoor area. Their menu is located at the order area outside. Their menu was 

Here's what we ordered:
 
- I honestly forgot the name of the main food we ordered but it was so huge we thought it was only good for 1 person. Haha The rice was cooked very well and it was really tasty.

Tiger Chai (Php85)
"Creamy chilled chai, made with premium blend Assam black tea with caramely brown sugar syrup and tapioca pearls"

Chai (Php65)
"Indian milk tea made from a premium blend of black tea from Darjeeling and Assam"
 
- The Tiger Chai was creamy and good but too sweet for my liking. We had to add water to it. I like the Chai better as it has the right amount of sweetness for me. 

Overall, we had a nice time dining here. The food we ordered we're great given the amount of serving they gave us. Price is affordable and the place is really cozy. Not sure if they have Hummus here because I was craving for Hummus when we went here but it isn't in their menu.
