Say hello to one of the newest food
truck/hub in Marikina which had a grand opening a few weeks ago. It’s the #Foodtrip
located at Gil Fernando St. Sto. Nino
Marikina (at the back of Blue Wave Mall).
One of the food stalls I will feature
today is the Los Vatos Tacos which
specializes on authentic Mexican foods.
Their stall is very colorful and it
really brings out that Mexican vibes.
Btw, #Foodtrip Marikina features numerous food stalls to choose from. Place is spacious though can get a bit cramped during the night or weekends. Nonetheless, this is a place perfect for those who are into food tripping as they get to choose from the variety of food stalls.

Carne Asada
(Steak) - Beef flank marinated in citrus and Mexican spices, grilled to
perfection
Carnitas (Pork) - Slow -
braised pork in citrus and Mexican spices
Pollo (Chicken) - Mojo
marinated chicken breast, grilled until charred to perfection
Tacos 2 pcs (Php120)
"Authentic 4 inch Mexican tacos with different choices of toppings"
- The tacos served was very crunchy and tasty. Definitely as good start for us. We just find it a bit pricey for the serving size.
Burritos

"Arroz
Mexican, lettuce, pico de gallo, crema de ajo”
-Their Burritos is fresh, hot and the
filling was so rich and good! The flavor was mild and it really made me full
which was a good thing.
Quesadillas
(Carne Asada - Php 195, Pollo - Php175, Queso - Php145)
"Tortilla,
Mexican Queso, lettuce, pico de gallo"
-The quesadillas were my favorite!! It
was so creamy, cheesey and thick on the inside. The dips definitely made a huge
impact on the taste as it was more flavorful.
Pollo
Mexicana (Ph155)
"Deep-fried
wings, salsa picante and Mexican spices, served with crema de ajo and cilantro"
-I’m not really a fan of spicy foods so
I find this one extremely spicy for me. Though the wing’s flavors were so good
but then I think, spicy food lovers would totally love this. The dip included compliments
well the spicy flavor of the wings so I was able to enjoy it. Totally
recommended to spicy lovers out there J
Nacho
Libre (Php 155)
"Hand-cut
tortilla chip, picadillo, nacho queso, pico de gallo, cilantro and cilantro
aioli"
-The nachos were also good for starters. The beef was perfectly cooked and it's a perfect combination along with the dip.
Overall, I had a great time trying out
Los Vatos Tacos Mexican foods. All dishes would really make on full so to try
out everything, better dine in here with lots of friends. Foods were tasty and prices were affordable. Will definitely come back for more. Recommended to everyone. J
