Mise En Scene Hello Bubble Hair Dye Foam REVIEW

It's been a LONG while since I last reviewed a hair dye. It was in 2016, when I decided to keep a dark hair tone instead. I keep on dyeing my hair from 2010-2017 and it made my hair dry, damaged and so frizzy. Have a lot of split ends before and having a light hair tone is hard to maintain. My current hair is more manageable, soft and better compared to the previous years. I've been thinking twice on having my full hair dyed because of the damage it may cause.  And today is the day I kind of got bored of my dark hair and wishes to have a light tone again. Yikes!

This is the Mise En Scene Hello Bubble Hair Dye Foam which I got from my sister in Korea last January thus the old Girls Day packaging. I think Blackpink now endorses this hair dye plus it got more tones to choose from. I've been a fan of foam hair dye since 2011 since I find it very easy to use. It's as easy as shampooing your hair without the hassle of reaching every parts of the hair.

Product description: Provides vibrant foam color that doesn't damage the hair. It is ammonia free with sweet floral fragrance. It has a Secret Magic Ampoule that reduces damage to the hair. Also contains Raspberry (to heal damaged hair), Lavender & Rose Water (moisturizes the hair) and Jeju Rape Flower (protects the hair by forming a barrier).

Here's what the box looks like.

Result:

Pros:
- Easy to apply
- The dye that was transferred to my neck/hands/arms can easily be rinsed off
- 1 box is more than enough for my shoulder length hair

Cons:
- A little drying on the hair for the first 1-2 days
- Leaves a red tinge whenever I shampoo my hair for about 2 weeks
- Gave my hair a slight red tone under sunlight
- Not locally available

Overall, I find that Hello Bubble Hair Dye very easy to use just like the other foam hair dye I've tried before. I just find the cape I wore a little hassle to use since it stains my arms more so I recommend not using it instead to avoid contact on the arms/skin. I recommend using a dark shirt. Also, I was only able to leave the dye for about 20 minutes so maybe that's the reason why the color didn't really showed up on most parts of my hair especially the end parts. Although, I did see a hint of purplish red whenever a light hits my hair. After rinsing, I find that my hair felt a little dry so I made sure to use a good conditioner. My hair is not dry anymore after 3-4 days of using a conditioner. There a red tinge whenever I take bath and it lasted for about 2 weeks. My sister told me that this only a temporary hair dye as it fades after a month. Maybe that's the reason why there is a red tinge whenever I rinse the shampoo on my hair. Still thinking of buying another box of Hello Bubble in Ash tone next time! :D

This product is not locally available (got mine as a pasalubong from my sister in Korea) but I found few shops in Shoppe which sells this hair dye at around P400-500.
