4u2 Cosmetics is a brand I've heard since I was in high school. I remembered my sister, cousin and aunt who ALWAYS mentions this brand to me but honestly, I didn't had the chance to try it before. Been hearing A LOT of good feedback from them that this brand is really good. Finally got the chance to try it today.
A month ago, @thehaleyshop from Instagram was so kind enough to send me these 4u2 Cosmetics products to try. Eager to know if this is really good, I gave it a try. 4u2 Cosmetics has been the Philippine market for a long time but it it originally from Thailand. I always see their kiosk in SM Megamall or Watsons but not sure if they still have the brand on the malls.
Lets start with their 4u2 Celebrity BB Cream with SPF35 PA+++ which gives a bright even natural skin tone. This can be used as a make up base, foundation and even sun screen in one.
The packaging comes in a black box with the description, manufacturing date and expiration date clearly stated at the bottom part. The product itself comes in a black squeeze type tube.
The formula is a bit runny and it has a dewy finish. Not sure how many shades are there but I believe there are 2 shades at @thehaleyshop. I got the darker one which is the 02. I prefer darker ones since my face is too white already.
PRICE:
FIRST IMPRESSION: I like that you can easily apply this BB cream on your skin and since this is a bit runny/liquidy, a little of the product goes a long way. It easily blends well on my skin and I prefer using a sponge applicator for this one. The 02 shade blends well for me. Coverage is light even with 2 layers but if you do have a good skin it can build up to medium coverage. Since I have a lot of blemishes, this provides light coverage for my blemishes thus I still need a concealer for this one. Since it has dewy finish, I used my fave oil control powder to prevent oil production. Though at 4 hours, I find that my skin is already too oily. I think a good primer can help prevent too much oil production for girls who has oily skin like me. I prefer using this as a base or sunscreen instead.
Next is the famous 4u2 Love Me More Blushers and some of their shades are dupe for expensive blushers! They have shimmer and matte for this and has a lot of shades.
The packaging comes in this simple but eye-catching compact case.
I got the shade S02: You Fancy Me which is dark for my skin tone (fair) so this is best used as a bronzer instead. This is under their shimmer shades. This actually reminds me of my current bronzer which comes in a huge case so I prefer using this one as this is more handy and easily fits on my kikay kit. This weighs for 5g.
The texture is powdery and I like that it is HIGHLY PIGMENTED. You can easily see the shade in just one swipe.
PRICE: Php
FIRST IMPRESSION: I love how PIGMENTED this blusher is and won't need much just to see the color. It is very handy so I can easily bring this around especially during trips. The shimmery part is not a problem for me since I only use a few swipes for this one. I like that it gives my skin a glow instead of not using a bronzer which make my face looks pale or too white. For longevity, I think this blush that I used as a bronzer lasted for about 8 hours on my face. 4u2 has a wide range of selection for their shades especially their peach shades which are so famous. Been hearing that those shades are really good and might save up for that instead.
Last but not the least is their 4u2 Lipaholic in N4 Lax shade. This is one of the 8 nude shades from their collection.
The packing for comes in a white plastic bullet type and not much description though. This lipstick seems light. The shade is seen at the bottom part.
The texture is creamy and it has a satin finish. For matte finish, you can dab a tissue once or twice.
PRICE:
FIRST IMPRESSION: I love this N4 shade which is a mix of nude brown and semi peach tone. The formula is pigmented and it can be easily applied on the lips. It is very smooths and leaves a satin finish. Satin finish is okay for me but I prefer matte ones so I dab a tissue on my lips after. The longevity lasts up to 4-5 hours with minimal water intake.

How to Use:
After washing the face, apply 1-2 pea size and spread all over the face. Use 30 minutes before sun exposure.
Already tried this sunscreen for 2 weeks (3-4x a week of use) under makeup and I love how light it feels on the skin even under the sun. Truly made my skin feel hydrated and moisturized. Under makeup, I love how it makes my skin feels alive and not too matte. I do have an oily skin and I noticed that this sunscreen makes my makeup oily after 2-3 hours so I make sure to apply 1-2 thin layer of the Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway on my skin. Though dry skin would truly love this sunscreen the best. :)
Aside from this, I'm so glad that Althea also included their 3 famous Petal Velvet Powders. I've been eyeing on them since the first time they released it. Glad to finally try them out! Won't say much about their Petal Velvet Powders since I'll be making a separate review about them soon!

If you've been following me for a while now, you might know now my answer whenever someone ask me WHAT IS MY FAVORITE OR RECOMMENDED WHITENING SUPPLEMENT?! My answer will always be, of course, SNOW CAPS.
It was in 2016 when I first tried Snow Caps Glutathione and it's also the first oral glutathione I've ever tried in my whole life. Fast forward to 2018 and my Snow Caps review (both on this blog and Youtube channel) has been my top 1 or 2 most viewed review!
Today, I will share with you again another review of the BEST WHITENING SECRET I have. From Vidanutriscience, the same makers of the famous Snow Skin Whitening Cream, Snow Whitening Lotion, Acne Care line (holy grail anti-acne products since 2016!!!) and Crystal White Skincare (newest fave affordable whitening line!!), say hello to Snow Caps L-Glutathione Dietary Supplements capsule.
To begin with, (not to brag or whatsoever) I was already born with a fair skin. During my teenage years, I had a huge hormonal pimple problems which leads me to use derma products to get rid and prevent pimple breakouts. Thus, making my face lighter compared to the rest of my body. I do get lots of queries about oral glutathione or sometimes, people ask why I still take glutathione or whitening products when in fact I already have a fair skin. For the nth time, I have no issues with trying out and reviewing products for you guys so I have consent to take these products and share my opinions on my blog and YouTube channel.
Also, I first started taking oral glutathione in 2016 until 2017 and personally, glutathione does wonders on my skin. I haven’t consistently taken glutathione since I do try different oral glutathione for the sake of review. Since 2016, I’ve already tried the Snow Caps, Mosbeau Placenta WhiteAdvanced, Relumins Advance White, Snow Beautycare, Gluta White 500, Ishigaki Amino Classic White and Bellatrix Glutathione + Collagen. I usually take 1 capsule a day with Enervon C as my Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to boost the absorption of Glutathione thus taking a Vitamin C together with glutathione is a must.
Some of you may be a first timer taking a glutathione or even hesitant to take one so I listed some questions and answers which might be helpful for you.
1. What is a Glutathione?
- According to the information I got online, "Glutathione is a substance produced naturally by liver. It is the major anti-oxidant produced by the body and our immune system depends in a steady supply if glutathione." In short, one can take an oral glutathione to boost his/her immune system.
2. What is the recommended dosage of Glutathione?
- I can’t claim anything to this but I’ve watch a documentary on Youtube saying that the recommended dosage for glutathione is 500mg. According to them, more than 500mg is considered overdose. Though some claims that the recommended intake depends on your body weight. Personally, I only take 1capsule a day to be sure.
3. How many capsules of Glutathione should I take in a day?
- According to Filipino Doctor site and Official Gluta-White 500 Facebook, it is recommended to take 1-2 capsule a day depending on your body weight. There is a computation for that and can the clearly be explained on the links mentioned.
4. Why is there a need to take Vitamin C while taking Glutathione?
- This is to enhance or boost glutathione levels on the blood that why one must take more Vitamin C than the glutathione. But just to be sure again, I only take 1 tablet of Kokando Vita White. Though it is recommended to take 3 capsule of Kokando Vita White a day.
5. Would oral glutathione and Vita White Plus harm my liver or kidneys since it'll filter everything I intake?
- According to my research, there is no study if oral glutathione really affects the liver or kidneys. I saw one or two articles stating that IV glutathione does more damage to the kidneys. Also, read that the higher glutathione content, the greater the liver's capacity to detoxify harmful chemicals.
6. Is it effective?
- As mentioned, it’s only been a year since I started trying oral glutathione for reviews. So far, I think every glutathione I’ve took were effective for me though they differ in how long did it effect on me. The reactions or effects differ depending on the current skin tone and body weight.
7. Why it’s taking me too long to see the effects?
- Please take note of the following: Duration of intake of skin whitening:
*Medium Brown Skin: 1-3 months
*Dark Brown Skin: 3-6 months
*Very Dark Skin: 6-12 months
*Black Skin: 2 years or more
*Once a person has acquired her desired color, the maintenance dose will just be 500mg once a day.
Now let's get started with my review.
"Snow Caps L- Glutathione is one of the most potent forms of amazing enzyme available in the market today. It is highly effective in reversing melanin's metabolism, turning dark pigmentation to light pigmentations. L-glutathione is an enzyme to help treat blood disorders, toxins and alcohol. However, one very fortunate side effect of L-glutathione intake is the marked whitening effect it has on dark skin."

Vitamin C 100mg
Alpha Lipoic Acid 100mg
Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) 100mg
Packaging: This comes in a white box. The capsule itself is in color white with the Snow Caps logo on it. 1 box includes 30 capsules.
Price: Not sure of the actual price but in Lazada it's priced for Php 1,199
Taste: It taste like a rotten egg when swallowed.
Scent: The capsule smells like rotten too.
How To Use: It is recommended to take 1 cap a day or as needed.
Review:
- I started to use Snow Caps in August 2018
- As of writing, I’m almost done with the 2nd box of Snow Caps
- I’m not particular of the time but I usually take this at the middle or the day after meals. I prefer to drink this after meals to reduce the feeling of the cool sensation going up from the stomach up to the throat.
- I usually take this along with my Enervon C.
- The taste of Snow Caps when is like of a rotten egg when swallowed. They said that this means that the product is original.
- My urine smells like rotten egg too.
- Again, I started to see the glow on my skin in about 3 weeks - 1 month. Already on my 2nd month or 2nd box and I skin feels brighter even indoors.
- To confirm, my friend who last saw me in August told me that indeed my skin became whiter/brighter.
Results: (almost 2 boxes/2 months or 60 capsules)

Pros:
- Visible effects after 3 weeks - 1 month of intake
- Glowy and radiant creamy white effects
- Boosts the immune system; anti-oxidant
- Can easily be purchase at the drugstore
- Affordable given the visible side effects
- No bowel movement side effects
Cons:
- The rotten egg taste but I advised to take this is with meal or flavored drink to avoid the taste
- Rotten egg scent in the urine
- Cold sensation from the stomach up until the throat for a few minutes after the intake.
Verdict: After trying almost 2 boxes (60 capsules) of Snow Caps in 2 months, I say that this is still ONE OF THE BEST AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ORAL GLUTATHIONE since 2016!!! With almost the same immediate whitening effects on my skin. It gave my skin a creamy white and radiant skin even indoors!!!
I already heard different reviews about this and please take note that we all have different reaction to certain products. This product worked well for me thus I highly recommend this one.
For the side effects such as the rotten egg scent and taste, I do recommend taking this after meals, preferably during dinner time. Also, please do take it with meals since it has this cold sensation side effects on the stomach. Taking it with meals will help lessen these side effects. :)

Before I got into blogging, many of you might not know that I was once part of the cosplay community way back 2011 - 2013. And girl, I was so fascinated with changing my hair color every now and then until I started to work in a hospital thus changing my hair into ombre one. The top of my hair was brown while the end parts were really light to almost blonde. I even remembered dyeing the end parts of my hair with red dye and going to work (in a hospital) with that hair. My hair was in a bun but still the end parts can still be seen. Some of my co-workers can't help but to tease me that I look like a rooster. haha Anyway, my hair that year was so dry, frizzy and damaged due to constant hair dyeing just because I badly want a pastel hair. During those times, colored hair dyes were really expensive.
Gone are the days were my hair was light. I grew tired of the light hair thus sporting a black hair now for more than 2 years. Still, I can't help but to dream of having a light hair or colored hair but I completely commit to it since I'm working as a nurse in a clinic. Who would want to see a pink-colored-hair nurse right? haha
A few weeks ago, I discovered a colored hair spray which would help me achieve my pastel hair dreams without the fear of having my hair dyed permanently!! How I wish I was able to discover this during my cosplay days or even earlier than this.
Cospray is a washable hair color spray that is safe for every hair and skin. It is non-toxic, dermatological tested and even safe for kids! They've been in the market since 2011. (Why I didn't know these during those times?!)
They have it in 7 vibrant colors! Gold, Silver, Red, Blue, Green, Violet & Pink.
The packaging comes in a colored aerosol spray. Each can is 75ml and priced for Php 209 only!
The scent smells like a freshly cut grass.
How to use:
Application can be a bit tricky. First, you must wear a dark shirt to avoid staining your clothes. You may or may not wear gloves when applying. Though I opted to use gloves just to be sure. Better to use a paper to hold you hair in place when you apply the dye/hair spray. Give some distance when spraying. It may make your hair a bit dry since this a hair spray so you must brush your hair first before application.

I like that with these hair spray, I can easily change my look by just spraying different hair colors without the fear of damaging my hair. Working as a nurse, vibrant hair color are a no-no but with the Cospray, I can now change my hair color during my rest days. No fear since I can easily go back to having black hair since these dyes are washable. What I also LOVE about this is that it works well even with my dark hair color. I also tried this with my pink wig and I love how it blends well with it. Again, it is washable so I can mix and match any colors I desire.
Halloween is coming up and I know some of you maybe thinking of dyeing your hair or buying wigs that you will only use for a small amount of time. Cospray is a better option not only it is much more affordable than buying colored hair dyes or buying wigs but because it is more cost efficient plus it is washable! Since they have 7 vibrant colors to choose from, you have an option to mix and match the colors for your liking. Isn't that great? Not only you can use this during Halloween but also even during casual days. Colored hair or ombre hair is a normal thing now so why not experiment and change your look for fun?
