Celebrating 50 Years of Caronia Philippines

When I was a kid, I remembered being so fascinated with nail polishes. My aunt who studied nail art (or something related to that) had so much collection of nail polishes from Caronia. Wanting to try that for myself at an early age, my aunt didn't allowed me to use nail polishes as I was still so young that time. That's when I started to told myself that someday I'll be able to use these nail polishes.

Would you believe that I first used nail polish when I was 21. Yes. 21. I didn't have the chance to paint my nail in high school and even in college (since I was a nursing student that time and colored nails are a no-no). After graduation, that's the only time I got to finally paint my nails! And Pussy Red from Caronia was the first ever nail polish and shade I ever tried! Hello late bloomer. haha

Fast forward to 2018, so glad that the first locally nail polish brand, Caronia is now celebrating it's 50th year in the market. They all started in 1968 and would you believe that Caronia was named after a luxury ship?! They sailed their way to the top and now they already have 72 colors in it's nail polish collection!!!

To celebrate their 50 years in the market, they curated 5 different boxes of nail polishes from 5 different era.
