One of the newest foodies at Lilac Street, we tried Brad
and Pit’s Ribshack located near the
border/bridge of Marikina and Antipolo, just below Cookie Mug.
I was impressed by this Cuban themed place as
they designed it with lots of vintage stuff along with different
quotes written all over the place. The place might look small
when viewed outside but they actually have more seats inside to
accommodate every customers.
Their menu is written on a blackboard and it’s a self-service
dining. They serve ribs, wings,
sandwich, pasta and also some milkshakes.
Here’s what we ordered:
Carribean Wings Combo with rice side (Php149)
- This Carribean wings combo is a must. It
includes 4 pieces of wings which
has a very distinct taste and best dipped with their Aioli dip.
Spicy Barby with rice side (Php149)
- This
is really yum yum! The ribs tastes quite delightful and very Mexican as my
friend says.
The servings were also big that we end up ordering another extra rice. :)
But at first I was a bit disappointed because I thought
that the serving was small
since they’re using a small plate. But actually the serving is quite worth
itfor the price but then I suggest for them to have bigger plates so that
the serving size doesn’t look too small.
Overall, I was impressed on how distinct is the taste on this
restaurant especially with other competitors in Lilac Street. If you
wanna try something different along Lilac Street, this is something I
highly suggest:)
