Before we end this year, I just want to share an UPDATED list of the BEST WHITENING products I've used over the years. I made a list of my FAVORITE EFFECTIVE WHITENING products that in 2017 and earlier this year. But today, I'll be sharing with you the BEST SKIN WHITENING PRODUCTS that I do recommend and tried over the years.

To begin with, (not to brag or whatsoever) I was already born with a fair skin. During my teenage years, I had a huge hormonal pimple problems which leads me to use derma products to get rid and prevent pimple breakouts. These products tend to shed off layer of the skin and of course, I only use these products for my face (not on my neck or body) thus making my face a bit lighter than the rest of my body.
Also, when I was in college, we had lots of community duties as well as I keep on walking under the sun without any protection thus making my skin maybe a bit darker than my current tone now. Thus, I do have a lighter skin color on my face compared to my arms, body and legs.
I remembered being conscious of my skin tone in 2012 when I noticed one of my friend’s skin tone became lighter than usual. I even thought she was taking glutathione but revealed to me that she’s only using Kojie San Kojic Soap for her body. Since 2012, I regularly use Kojie San soap until I started reviewing whitening products in 2016.
I do get lots of queries about oral glutathione or sometimes, people ask why I still take glutathione or whitening products when in fact I’m already fair skinned. Yes, I DO HAVE AN UNEVEN SKIN TONE so I believe these whitening products would hopefully help me achieve an EVEN SKIN TONE. Honestly, online shops and brands sometimes send me whitening products to review so who am I to refuse?
I have no issues with trying out and reviewing products for you guys so I hope you do appreciate what I try to do and share with you guys. Everything is trial and error. Of course, not everything worked for me and there are even times that I experienced bad breakouts because of the product I tried. I don’t regret it because I love what I do and I have consent to take these products and share my opinions to you guys.
I've been using same whitening soap way back 2012 and started to religiously use different whitening products in 2016. 3 years have passed and I'm glad to achieve this kind of skin tone. I'm still not an expert when it comes to whitening since my goal in using whitening products now is to LIGHTEN MY DARK SPOTS and MAINTAIN THE BODY TONE I HAVE.

Snow Caps L-Glutathione

Product Info: Snow Caps L- Glutathione is one of the most potent forms of amazing enzyme available in the market today. It is highly effective in reversing melanin's metabolism, turning dark pigmentation to light pigmentations. Price: Results: This is the FIRST ORAL GLUTATHIONE I tried in my life! I first reviewed this in 2016 and got a chance to try it again last 2018. And if you've been following me for a while now, you might know now that my answer whenever someone ask me WHAT IS MY FAVORITE OR RECOMMENDED WHITENING SUPPLEMENT?! Gluta – White 500

Product Info: It’s the FIRST ORAL GLUTATHIONE I’ve seen on MIMS ((Official Drug Handbook for Healthcare Workers) and Filipino Doctor and as nurse, it means that it is 100% LEGIT. It contains 500mg of Glutathione and claims to be used as an anti-oxidant, anti-aging and good for skin lightening.

Price: Php1500 at Cheska’s Store

Results: The visible whitening effects was seen on the 5^th week of use when my sister commented that I am already whiter than her (She has fairer skin than mine). It my skin a radiant and creamy white glow. I love this glutathione as it has NO SIDE EFFECTS or whatsoever. Compared to other oral glutathione, this only contains 500mg of glutathione and no other else.

Frozen Collagen 2-in-1 Whitening x10

Product Info: is a collagen with whitening properties. Their collagen is derived from fish which has the same collagen structure of human skin. It helps to repair the skin and reduce wrinkles. It also has Vitamin C. It has 12 extracts from Japan to help nourish the skin, reduce dark spots, improve hair and bones and even protect the skin from the sun. This product is made in Japan but distributed in Thailand.

Main Ingredients:

Fish Hydrolyzed Collagen 30,000mg

L-Glutathione 1000mg
Price: 60 capsules for Php420
Results: I've been taking collagen for years and honestly, you can only start to see the effects after a few months thus taking this once a day. Plus I don't want to harm my liver by taking a lot of supplements everyday so I prefer using this 1 cap a day. I love that this product made my skin glow and gives that healthy look. It also helps to prevent or lessen my pimple during those times. For the whitening part, it didn't give that much glow maybe because it only has low dose of glutathione but still gave me a glow. If you are looking for an affordable collagen that is effective, I highly recommend trying this one!

AHA Skin Whitening Soap

Product Info: The AHA Skin Whitening Soap is a skin whitening soap infused with fruit-derived cleanser, Vitamin B3 and fresh botanical extracts used to softly scrub, deeply clear and evenly whiten the skin. This also has an exfoliating properties to moisturize the skin revealing a smooth and clear skin. Price: Php59 Results: On the 4th week of use, I noticed that my elbows and knees are 1-2 tones lighter compared to before. Theses areas are really darker compared to my body tone so I was really surprised that the AHA soap helped to lighten these areas. AHA Whitening Booster Serum

Product Info: helps to lighten and makes the skin brighter. It helps to whiten dark spots, pimple, marks and other hyper pigmentation. This is a water based serum that easily absorbs by the skin. DSC ORGANICS AHA Serum

Product Info: Removes dead skin cells, anti - aging soap and reduces wrinkles for that fresh looking skin. Price: Results: TOTALLY LOVE how it helps to easily lighten the skin. You can use this alone or as an add on to your product. I prefer to use this with my current lotion and love how MORE moisturizing it feels on the skin (even when used alone). Snow Aura Whitening Booster Mask

Product Info: This is the FIRST product I reviewed that was sent to me by Cheska’s Store in 2016. It was the time when Thailand skincare were famous and one of which is this whitening mask. This Snow Aura Whitening Booster Mask is an overnight facial mask with 24k pure gold. It’s a cream type of mask in whitish gold color. It applied 3-4x a week to see the results.

Price: Php1500 at Cheska’s Store

Results: I didn’t share this during my review but I think I had breakouts while using this for a few days. But once my skin got used to the product, the breakouts were minimal. On the bright side, I SUPER LOVE this mask as it gives off a nice and blemish free skin once I wash the cream on my face in the morning. My skin feels soft, smooth and BLEMISH FREE but just for a while. The “blemish-free” skin lasted for 1-2 days only and my blemished skin immediately went back. Whitening and blemish free results were temporary only. it is recommended to use for 3-4x a week but I only use this when I need to go to an event or special occasions as it makes my skin flawless. Results maybe temporary but makes my skin super blemish free for a day!

Kojie San Kojic Soap

Product Info: Kojie San Kojic Soap is a whitening bar that have been proven to safely and quickly reveal even skin by gently smoothing away dark spots, discoloration, and other imperfections. Been using this since 2012 until 2016 when I started to review other whitening products. I haven’t use this for a while since I’m trying different soaps since 2016. I love this soap because it’s affordable and accessible as you can easily buy this on the grocery, drug stores or convenient stores. This kojic soap may be a bit drying on the skin so moisturizer is a must or lotion for the body. If you’re prone to allergy, better test this on your skin first.

Price: Php72.50/3 bars

Results: Back in 2012, I wasn’t particular on the soaps that I was using until I noticed that my one of my friends was getting whiter than usual. Curious to what she does to achieve whiter skin, she told me that she’s only using Kojic San soap thus making me buy it. No photos of before and after since I’m not monitoring the effects that time and I wasn’t expecting that much. I think there’s a BIG DIFFERENCE from my skin tone in 2012 to 2016.

I’m not body shaming (as some may call it) as I love every skin tone as well as mine. We’re all different in a good way and everybody wants to improve on something, right? Liptints are my go-to lip product for that natural everyday look. During work, I prefer using tints as it has a natural finish, not too intimidating plus you experiment with having a full finish lips or an ombre one. Lately, I've been back to using tints for my everyday makeup at work.

Today, I'll be sharing with you 3 different tints from the local brand THE PRETTY HAULER which is a local online shop (in the Philippines). All products are are made from organic ingredients and safe for everyone to use (even kids, teens and lactating mothers). Their colorants are imported from Malaysia and India and all tints are enriched with Vitamin E to hydrate the lips. By the away, the owner of this shop is a Registered Nurse (like me!) so you know that all the products are safe to use.

What I like about these tints are that are all HIGHLY PIGMENTED and the tints are really long lasting. The smell has a sweet lipstick scent along with it. I noticed that the POWDER MATTE tint and HD MATTE tint are very smooth to apply on this lips. It does dry easily so you have to immediately set the color on the lips so it won't be patchy. I had a little hard time with the Lip & Cheek Tint because I had to glide a lot of times just to bring out the product on my lips. I personally love all the shades. They actually have A LOT of other shades to choose from! All tints are long lasting especially with my 16 hour shift. A little product goes a long way and glad that I only get to retouch once (after 10 hours). Their products are all-natural and organic so let's support local made!

Having a good skin begins with a good cleanser. Lately, I've been hoarding different cleansers just because I don't want them to ran out on my vanity area. Today, I got to try a NEW korean cleansing water.

This is the Calming Clean Water from the Korean brand Juice To Cleanse. It is a gentle and soft cleansing water which has a weak acidic and low irritant formula for that fresh and moist feeling. This cleansing water provides effective cleansing makes the skin feels smooth.

*Key Ingredients:
Cauli flower
Coconut
Aloe
Pear
Cabbage

Packaging: Comes in a white simple box. The product comes in a cute frosted white bottle.

Texture: Watery. Reminds me of Micellar Water

Scent: Mild coconut water. Very relaxing scent.

How to Use:
1. Fully soak the cotton pad with the product
2. To remove eye makeup, place the cotton pad on the skin around the eyes without rubbing and gently wipe makeup off after a few seconds later.
3. Lastly, gently wipe off makeup from the entire face.

Verdict: I've been using this product for straight 3 weeks already (everyday use) and I love the water type consistency of this cleansing water. I have an acne prone and oily skin so I prefer, this type of cleansers as it feels very lightweight on the skin. It claims that it makes your skin moisturize after use but it's not too moisturizing for me. I use as the first part of my skincare routine as this removes the make up. It easily removes the makeup and other residue. I usually use 2 cotton pads to remove all of my makeup. I didn't experience any breakouts at all. So if you have an acne prone, oily and sensitive skin, I highly recommend this cleansing water. All though this can also be used for all skin types.
