Looking for a good place to dine in
Marikina, I came across Goreng Goreng which is located near my alma mater (St. Scho Marikina) and C&B
Mall/Circle Mall (S’Mall). I’ve seen this place a few times last year and been
curious to what this restaurant offers.
Goreng Goreng is one-of-its kind restaurant in Marikina which serves Indo-Chinese
and Malaysian cuisine. The place is located at Liwasang Kalayaan St., just
across the new C&B Mall extension.
They maximize the space as they have
an indoor and outdoor dining as well as more tables upstairs. I love that the
decors of the place will remind you that Asian feels dining.

THE BEST HAINANESE CHICKEN ever!!!
I’m very picky when it comes to chicken and so I say that their Hainanese
chicken PASSED my picky taste buds. Haha Their chicken was cooked was very as
the chicken meat was soft and light. They included 3 sauces which is not seen
on the photo and it was the best! The shredded garlic or ginger plus the sauce
gave a perfect taste for the chicken. Servings were enough for a hungry stomach
plus the price was very affordable. We really enjoyed this meal very well.
Nyonnya Laksa (Solo – Php120)
“Egg noodles in creamy coconut curry broth”

Mild taste laksa which has 2
different noodles in it. The broth was creamy mild which I like. You can chili
if you want a spicy one. The solo serving was enough for 2 though I suggest
ordering the solo one all for yourself. haha
Kopi Tarik Ais (Php80)
“Malaysian Pulled Coffee”

HEAVEN!!!! Haha One of the best
coffee I’ve tasted. It was mild and creamy and fits my taste. Craving for this as of writing. Haha
Over all, our dining experience at
Goreng Goreng is superb. Aside that their foods were affordable, they also
exceeded our expectations with the taste. It’s a good place to bring your
family and friends. There's still a lot of dishes I want to try so will
definitely come back here ! :)
