Dyed my hair (for the nth time!!!!) with Lolane’s Zcool Milk Pistachio Latte a few days ago. Been eyeing this hair dye from Thailand for months as I find the packaging nice. The model’s ash toned hair is the color I really want. Before buying anything, I ALWAYS read reviews first. Lolane Zcool Milk Color is a brand made from Thailand.

According to Watsons PH website: “Lolane ZCool Color Milk contains Micro Crystal Technology that deodorizes chemical odor while helping the hair absorb the color thoroughly. It is infused with Hokkaido milk extract that can help hair become soft, moist and healthy”

Bought 2 boxes for Php298/each I think. Here’s the box and color guide.

Box includes:
- Lolane Zcool Color Milk Tube (45g)
- Lolane Cream Developer (70ml)
- 1 pair of plastic gloves
- Lolane Intense Care Keratin Repair Mask (15g)
- Leaflet (with English translation)

Here’s the manual guide (instructions):
1.       Wear gloves.
2.       Squeeze the color cream into Hydrogen Peroxide bottle.
3.       Shake the bottle of mixture well 30-60 times
4.       Squeeze the mixed color from the fine-tip bottle on your hair. Use fingers to spread the milk thoroughly
5.       Leave for 30-40 minutes then rinse with water

According to the instructions included, the developer bottle should be directly applied on the hair. I mixed the developer and cream tube on a mixing bowl instead since I think it is better to evenly apply the dye. I also ask the help of my sister for dyeing my hair. 2 boxes was just enough to color my hair. (Didn’t applied much on the latter part of my hair since I’m planning to ombre/bleach the lower portion of my hair then will dye it with ash blonde soon! :)) Left it for 45 minutes.

Here’s my hair a few days before applying the dye:

Here’s the outcome: Why more blonde than ash :(((

Outdoor:
Indoor:

Comparison:

Pros:
* Fruity scent
* Affordable for less P300/box
* My hair is already so damaged & dry from constant hair dyeing but using this dye didn’t really damage my hair that much.
* I like the Keratin Mask included as it helped me lessen the damage on my hair. Hair is smooth after using this.

Cons:
* Ash toned hair wasn’t achieved (way far than I expected)
* A bit stingy on first application
* For me, it’s not DIY hair dye since I know that applying it alone would give me that uneven color. Still needed help from my sister. :)

Overall, outcome was nice since I got back to lighter blonde hair. But my expectations of ash tone failed. :((( My hair looks nice but it still somehow looked like my previous hair color, just a bit brighter. Planning to bleach the end parts of my hair then dye it with ash tone soon :))

How about you? Have you tried this one? Or any recommendations you like to share? Pls don't hesitate to leave your comments down below. Hope to hear from you. :) Thanks for reading :)

I was again, looking for a new foodie in Marikina and found a new building with 3 new restaurants in C&B Mall, near my alma mater (St.Scho Marikina). Say hello this newly opened Japanese foodie spot, Shachihoko Ramen in Marikina.

Shachihoko Ramen is one the 3 new restaurants opened in the new building along C&B Mall. They are in between Antonio J and Kim Chee Korean Cuisine. (They’re next-on-my-food trip-list) :)

Upon entering, energetic waiters/waitresses warmly greeted us with “Irrashaimase” which means “Welcome”. (Me and my friend was teasing since what we heard sounded like “hellomamser” hahahaha)

Anyway, we were directed to seat upstairs. I can’t help but notice the nice interesting manga-designed walls which I took a picture with. :)

**Place looks really bigger with these designs. **

We were handed a menu and water upon seating.
Here’s the menu: (grabbed from their Facebook)

While waiting, I did enjoyed the anime music they played. Totally reminds me of my childhood-anime-addict-days.

Place is really clean and has a nice Japanese ambiance. Though I wasn’t able to take full photo of the place (I think we were the first customers at that time), I did appreciate the place and the nice view of mountains/valley outside.

Anyway, here’s what we ordered:

Shiroi Ramen (Php220)
“Signature white ramen noodles with rich, milky pork and chicken bone broth soup top with egg, chashu, manma and negi”

 - I love how creamy and milky this white ramen is. The combination of every ingredients compliments very well. Really a MUST TRY ramen!

Chasudon (Php175)
“Rice topped with chopped pork belly and braised in sweet and savory sauce in based sauce”

- I think this is one of the best and distinct donburi I’ve ever tasted. Taste is very flavorful.

Green Tea Ice Cream with Red Beans (Php85)

- As a matcha lover, this is a must!!! Since matcha/green tea ice cream may taste a bit bitter, the combination of the red beans compliments the taste of matcha very well. I really LOOOOOOVE their Green Tea ice cream!!!!! :)))

What I honestly didn’t like is the serving size. I was really “bitin” for the 3 meals we had especially the ramen I had. I think the serving given wasn’t enough even for a small tummy like me. :(
But overall, I really had a great experience eating at this place. So far, the 3 meals we had was really delish and I was satisfied. Shachihoko Ramen is the best Japanese food spot in Marikina (Well, for me). Can’t wait to come back and try their other foodies. Totally recommended!! Kudos to this restau! :)))

A few days ago, I was looking for a new foodie spot in Marikina when I came across this nice military themed food spot in Parang, Marikna named Troopers By Chef Moms. When I saw how affordable their foods are, I immediately put this on my next-to-eat-places-in-Marikina:)

Place is located in Parang Marikina, something I am not familiar of even though I am from Marikina haha :) But going there is very easy. From Cubao, Katipunan or Bayan Marikina, ride a jeepney with a signage of Parang Fortune and ask to be dropped off at Balagtas.

Troopers by Chef Moms is located at your left side near the INC in Parang. People in the jeepney where so kind as they I am unfamiliar with the place so the one beside me assisted us and told us, “Sige iha sasabihin ko nalang pag Balagtas na”.

Troopers by Chef Moms is the first military themed foodie spot I heard/saw in Marikina. Place is not air-conditioned but cool enough as electric fans were used. It can also accommodate maybe 60-70 or more people I think. It’s also a Pay first service so upon entering, we immediately got the menu on the counter. Waiters are dressed in khaki uniforms which are really nice :)

Here’s the menu: (grabbed @troppersbychefmoms Instagram)

Here’s what we ordered:

Major General Pasta (Php 109)
“Shrimps, calamari and spaghetti in olive oil with fresh basil and parmesan cheese”

-  Though I think the toppings should be more, their Major General Pasta which is like a Seafood pasta tastes really good!

Colonel (Php 99)
“Spaghetti pasta with button mushrooms, and smoked bacon in Parmesan cream cheese”

-  Their Colonel Pasta which is like a Carbonara is very creamy and milky just enough for my taste buds. Though again I think they should put more ingredients/toppings into it.

Nachos (Php 79)

-   Nachos pricing at Php 79 is really huge! Their nacho chips taste also different in a good way. Something to try :)

House Blend Iced Tea (Php 20)

-   Iced tea priced for only Php20?!?! Haha Their Iced tea tasted like raspberry and tastes so good :)

Over all, all I can say is that this is one of the most affordable food spot in Marikina :) Place is good and foods are great. Very very “sulit”for your money. Will definitely comeback and recommend to my friends :) thumbs up for this place :)

**Disclaimer: I’m not a tech/gadget expert so this review is solely based on my own experience using this camera

It’s been a while since I used a digital camera for my photos especially when blogging.

Been eyeing on Samsung NX Mini camera ever since it was launched last year. But didn’t bother to buy it since I find it very expensive for my budget. (Original price is sold at Php16-20k). But a few months ago, I came across on a post regarding a 2nd hand Samsung NX Mini camera in PINK sold at a cheaper price. Was kind of hesitant at first since I know 2nd hand prices of Samsung Camera NX Mini ranges from Php 10-12k but it was below that range. Seller seems legit and after a few days of thinking, I finally decided to meet up with the seller to buy the camera. :)

When I first saw the camera on hand, I was really in love by the camera!! Samsung NX Mini Pink is really adorbs and gorg!

So here’s my First Impression Review on Samsung NX Mini.

Samsung NX Mini features it’s slimmest (22.5mm) and lightest (158g) interchangeable-lens camera ever launched. Available in white, black, brown, mint green and pink.

Mini Specifications:
20.9MP
BSI CMOS sensor
3.0" Flip up and Touch LCD Screen

What’s inside the box: (This is different since I got this for 2nd hand)

Samsung NX Mini Camera
9mm lens
Battery
Charger
Adapter
Hand strap
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5
Samsung S/W CD
Quick Sales Guide

Key Features:
1. Ultra Slim and Light
With only 158g, you can easily carry this camera and slide to your bags/pockets just like your phone.

2. Wifi & NFC feature
NFC (Near Field Communication) which you can easily use to transfer photos to your phone. It also has Wifi capabilities to allow transfer photos from your camera to your social media sites.

3. Wink shot
This feature makes it easy to shoot without clicking the button but by just winking to take a photo. No button necessary.

4. 20.5MP BSI sensor
To capture a high quality image.

5. Perfect for selfies
With its 3.0inch flip/touchscreen display, you can easily hold this camera for your perfect selfie. I also like its “Best Face” feature for added softening effect.

Here are some of sample photos using different features of the camera:

Pros:
- Cute Pink stylish camera design
- Flip screen for easier selfies
- HD quality of photos
- Touch screen
- Easy to carry
- Can easily share photos on wifi or smartphone
- Got it at cheaper price

Cons:
- A bit expensive for the brand new
- Doesn’t have zoom feature
- Yellowish tone on photos so I still have to edit photos from my phone (but I’m still exploring the functions of the camera)

Overall, I’m really looking forward to officially use this for my future posts. Again, I’m not a photo expert but I believe I can use this camera to prettify my photos more. Haha So please look forward to that. :)
