Been craving for their pasta (Lasagna to be exact) since the day
I read blog(s) about it. After weeks of craving, we finally went to Pink Chiffon to try their dish.
The place is so kawaii and PINK for me. Lovin’ their
interior so much especially the floral design they have on the wall. (**I love floral/pastel stuffs**)
Menu:
Here’s what we ordered:
Lasagna Verde al Forno
Roast Beef in Mushroom Gravy
Wasn’t able to take an order of their yummy cupcakes at that time but I’ve
already tried some of their cupcakes before. After a few days, we went back to
Pink Chiffon because I was badly craving for their cupcakes. Sorry, wasn’t able
to take pics but I tried their Red Velvet cupcake
and Blueberry Cheesecake. Liked the Blueberry Cheesecake a lot!
Overall, a really great place to try!

I just wanna share with you
one of my favorite
chill spot near my place aside from Eastwood.
I know, I’m so “late bloomer” for
this kind of thing. I just started drinking when I was in my 4th year college
wherein we had a lot of drinking sessions just because we’ll all be graduating
from college. But it was more of hard drinks/overnight bonding than just chill
drinks. So it was then just last year (2013) when I started to drink chill
beers/drinks for the ladies like San Mig or Tanduay Ice. At first, I can only
consume half of a beer then eventually, I can already consume 2-3 bottles. And
I only drink San Mig Apple or Tanduay Ice flavored drinks. Period. Haha
My usual chill spots would
be Cubao Expo or Eastwood or
can you recommend me a better place instead? Anyway, I kinda liked the ambiance
of Cubao Expo chill spots. Just a small place with a few drinking spots.
One of my fave is at Fred’s Revolucion.
I liked their ambiance and
the bar they have. Cheaper drinks too. I don’t like noisy chill spots/those
bars with loud music so I prefer to go here. Just make sure to go their early
on a weekdays/weekends (around 7pm on wards) to get a great spot. A lot of
people are going there on a weekends (except Sundays) so make sure to be there
early.
Here’s some of my pics from different chill days on
Fred’s Revolucion.

Me and my friends went to Gillian Gail Dessert Buffet at Katipunan a few
months ago. I’m actually fond of browsing thru Metrodeal, Cashcashpinoy and
Ensogo for discounted vouchers/promos. Found this good deal from Gillian Gale
near our place so we purchased it.
It
says Desserts Buffet for P 299 only with Unlimited Drinks or P399 only with
unlimited desserts plus rice toppings.Since we already purchased a voucher from Ensogo/Metrodeal that time, we only
paid P 179 instead of P 299.
The location is inside a building (Oracle Building in Katipunan) and it’s
located on the 2nd floor. The place is so nice and kind of liked their interior
design. One side had their dessert buffet then there’s a big mirror beside.
Crepes are to be ordered before they serve it to you ~
FOOOODIEEEES ~
OVERALL: I think its nice place to have a desserts
buffet. Gillian Gail’s menu for desserts are limited and their appetizer which
is the Tacos only are not served immediately. We waited for about 10-15 minutes
I guess, before it was served on the table. But overall, their desserts are
yummy and it’s near my place. Surely, it’s still nice place to try.
