Where To Go in Baguio: Botanical Garden (2025)

Last February 2025, we went on a 3D2N trip to Baguio City—yes, again! If you’ve been following my blog or YouTube, you probably know by now that my yearly Baguio tradition started way back in 2016. I had plans to return in 2020, but the pandemic put those on hold. I finally made it back for my birthday last year, and of course, I couldn’t resist going again this year!

I really miss the cold weather, the food, and the laid-back lifestyle in Baguio. One of the reasons I keep coming back is to experience how the city feels during different months—each visit brings a unique vibe, especially with the changing weather. It’s like rediscovering Baguio all over again every time.

On our second day, we visited the Baguio Botanical Garden and took time to explore the area. I had been here A LOT of times already and seen how this place improved.

The Baguio Botanical Garden is one of the city's well-known tourist spots, ideal for anyone who wants to reconnect with nature. The best part? You got a HUGE garden/nature to explore. You’ll spot Igorots by the main entrance, adding to the cultural charm. The place is now pack with a lot of new landscapes and designs. The place is surprisingly vast—you’ll find yourself walking a lot just to see everything it has to offer.

I also visited the garden just last year (2024), and while most of it still looks the same, they’ve added more flowers and new landscaped areas, making it even more vibrant and picturesque.

The garden features various themed landscapes that mimic famous international landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinese temples, a Japanese shrine, a Korean park, and more.

This year’s visit felt a bit gloomier compared to last year, mostly because the sun didn’t come out. I’ve always preferred sunny days—they just make everything feel brighter and more cheerful.

I still haven’t made it to the upper part of the Botanical Garden—I was already too tired from all the walking. Plus, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the area. Hopefully someday, I’ll get the chance to fully explore every corner of this place.

Overall, it’s a lovely place to return to, unwind, and take a peaceful stroll around.
