Finally back with a NEW KOREAN SKINCARE products that I've been using for months how. Before I begin, I want to share that I have an acne prone, oily and sensitive type of skin. I really choose the products that I try and review.

Back with another makeup review with the Silkygirl Cosmetics. I've already tried most of their products last 2017 (HERE), 2018 (HERE) (HERE), 2020 (HERE) and 2022 (HERE). I'm highly impressed with their make up and glad to try their NEWEST products: MATTE ALL DAY SERUM FOUNDATION & MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY. Glad that they are now available on Shopee so we can easily access and buy their products. Yay!

Silkygirl is a cosmetic brand from Malaysia that offers wide variety of beauty and makeup products. I heard that they are a famous brand in Malaysia and glad that they brought it here in the Philippines. Their products are Asian formulated. I've already tried their new makeup products and I personally think that their cosmetic line are really good but underrated. Today, I'll be sharing with you how I was so impressed with this brand.

MATTE ALL DAY SERUM FOUNDATION

Product Description: Achieve flawless skin with this lightweight serum foundation that provides all-day coverage. While this foundation provides a matte finish, it keeps your skin hydrated and protected with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Has SPF50 PA+++.

Packaging: Comes in a small squeezed type plastic bottle. You can easily see the shade on the bottle. Very handy and easy to bring around.

Shades: 3 shades (Ivory, Beige, Buff)

Consistency: Runny.

Coverage: Medium to Heavy coverage. Matte finish.

Price: ₱595

My Thoughts: I like that the packaging is very easy to use. I have a fair skin tone so I prefer to use the Ivory one so it won't look to white or dark on my skin tone. Although most shades from Silkygirl are made for Asian so the shades available are good for fair to medium to dark skin tone. I find that you won't need much of the product to cover the whole face. I have red marks and acne mark and it easily covers those. The foundation easily absorbs the oiliness on the skin which is perfect for oily skin types. It has a matte finish but still looks and feels natural and lasts all day.

MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY

Product Description: A 3-in-1 super fine mist that can Prep, Set & Refresh the skin. It keeps the makeup long lasting, stays dewy and hydrated. It is lightweight and refreshing. It has Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Witch Hazel and Vitamin E.

My Thoughts: I love how lightweight this one on the skin. It gives a natural and glowing finish to my makeup. It leaves my skin hydrated, dewy and fresh. Although I have an oily skin and I find this a little hydrating on my skin. This makeup setting spray is recommended for normal to dry skin.

Having an acne prone, oily and sensitive skin makes it hard for me to look for products that would really work for my skin. So I am looking for products that can improve my textured and rough skin. Today, let me share with you a product that I've been using for almost a month now. Yes, been incorporating these products on my skincare routine so I can share this review with you today.

HELLO GLOW SERUM SOOTHING GEL

Product Info: This is soothing gel that can help lighten the dark spots, good anti-aging & antioxidant and moisturizes the skin for that luminous glow. This has Vitamin C (lightens the dark spots) and Jojoba spheres (exfoliate).

Weight: 300ml

Consistency: Transparent gel type.

Scent: Smells citrusy.

How to Use: Apply a thin layer onto the skin. Gently pat and massage for better absorption. It can be used for face and body. Apply as needed.

My Thoughts: I usually use this product at night as I love how it seeps thru in my skin. I use enough amount of this on my entire face every other night. It has a slight tingling sensation at the first few use. I noticed that my dark spots has lighten a bit after a week of use. It also made my skin soft and smooth. I can easily prep my skin everyday when I use this at night. I love how it lightens the dark spots as well as made the texture of my skin better.

HELLO GLOW TRIPLE VITAMIN AHA LOTION

Product Info: It has Vitamin B3, Vitamin A and Vitamin E that helps brightens the dull skin and lightens the pigmentation. It also smoothens the texture of the skin. It is infused with beauty vitamins and an alpha hydroxy acid to reveal fresh, brighter, younger looking skin. It also contains UV filters to protect skin from harmful environmental stressors.

*Key Ingredients:

Vitamin B3 - brightens and restores the skin's glow

Vitamin A - smoothens texture, wrinkles and stretch marks

Vitamin E - lock in moisture while nourishing the skin

Lactic Acid (an Alpha Hydroxy Acid) - renews skin and fights aging

Consistency: A little runny. White colored lotion.

How to Use: Apply lotion all over your body and hands as often as needed. Massage until absorbed.

My Thoughts: I honestly LOVE this lotion a lot. I use this maybe 3-4x a day since I am very addicted to lotion and can't live without it. First, I love how citrusy and refreshing the scent is. This lotion is super moisturizing and made my skin very hydrated. It is non sticky at all. I noticed that it lighten my dark spots a bit in a a month of use. Also made my skin glowing and hydrated. I am still using this as of now and really wowed with it effects on my skin.

For today's review, let me share with you my review about a GLUTATHIONE that MOST OF YOU ask me to review (for a very long time). Finally got my hands on the most raves glutathione which is the ISHIN ADVANCED WHITE JAPAN FORMULA GLUTATHIONE.

Before I start my review, I wanna apologize for the delayed whitening/glutathione review lately as I am so BUSY with my work in the hospital plus I am taking my time to try and review the products that I am currently taking.

To begin with, (not to brag or whatsoever) I was already born with a fair skin. During my teenage years, I had a huge hormonal pimple problems which leads me to use derma products to get rid and prevent pimple breakouts. These products tend to shed off layer of the skin and of course, I only use these products for my face (not on my neck or body) thus making my face a bit lighter than the rest of my body.

Also, when I was in college, we had lots of community duties as well as I keep on walking under the sun without any protection thus making my skin maybe a bit darker than my current tone now. Thus, I do have a lighter skin color on my face compared to my arms, body and legs.

I do get lots of queries about oral glutathione or sometimes, people ask why I still take glutathione or whitening products when in fact I’m already fair skinned. Yes, I DO HAVE AN UNEVEN SKIN TONE so I believe these whitening products would hopefully help me achieve an EVEN SKIN TONE. Honestly, online shops and brands sometimes send me whitening products to review so who am I to refuse?

I have no issues with trying out and reviewing products for you guys so I hope you do appreciate what I try to do and share with you guys. Everything is trial and error. Of course, not everything worked for me and there are even times that I experienced bad breakouts because of the product I tried. I don’t regret it because I love what I do and I have consent to take these products and share my opinions to you guys.

Since working in the hospital for almost 2 years, due to more sun exposure, I noticed that my skin getting 1-2 shades darker than what I had before. I still have fair skin tone but not as fair as before. I'm still not an expert when it comes to whitening since my goal in using whitening products now is to LIGHTEN THE UNEVEN SKINTONE and HOPEFULLY GET BACK FAIR BODY TONE I HAD YEARS BEFORE.

My thoughts:

What I like about this Tomato Glass Skin Line from Ever Organics is that the products are easily absorbed by the skin and it feels lightweight when applied. It is non-sticky and not heavy on the skin. It helps to brighten the skin making it fresh and glowing. It leaves a thin layer in the skin making it look like a glass - for that healthy-looking glow. My skin texture improved to being soft and smooth.
