When it comes to skin whitening, I always and HIGHLY RECOMMEND using whitening soaps instead as I believe it gives a permanent result. Also, been using whitening soaps since 2012 so I truly believe in using soaps for whitening instead.

A few months ago, SCT sent me different whitening soaps to try and one of which is the SCT Gluta Kojic Ultra Soap. This is an all-natural and hand crafted herbal soap ultra-lightening soap that can be used by both men and women. It is made of Kojic Acid extract, Glutathione extract, Virgin coconut oil and other natural extracts. They claim that it can lighten the skin in just 7 days. Been using this since August for my body and face.

Key Ingredients:

*Kojic Acid – helps remove dead skin cells, dirt, dull skin, and even scars. It works and doesn’t have the dangerous side effects of many chemicals and compounds used as main ingredients. It is all-natural compound derived from fungi (mushrooms) and organic substances.

*Glutathione - is a tripeptide consisting of cysteine, glycine, and glutamate and functions as a major antioxidant. It inhibits melanin production. Proven safe and effectively whitens the skin and improves skin condition based on a study conducted in Japan.

*Tea Tree Oil – has many anti-viral and anti-fungal benefits. It helps to cure ring worm, athlete’s foot, toenail fungus, cold sore, jock itch, psoriasis, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, chicken pox, warts, acne, skin blemishes, dark spots, pimple outburst, dandruff and other skin disorders.

Packaging: The soap comes in a white and yellow box. While the soap itself is sealed and is a mixed of orange and white bar.

How to use:

Use it twice a day ideally during bathing and before bedtime to delicately clean your skin especially your face to avoid acne/pimples; AVOID RUBBING as it may damage your skin due to friction; GENTLY AND SLOWLY lather it on your skin and massage your skin in circular motion; Leave for 1-2 minutes on your face and 2-3 minutes on your body; Best with warm water to open the skin pores and wash with cold water; and use any lotion if micro peeling occurs as one of Kojic Acid's side effects.

*NOTE:

You may experience the following for the first 3 days:

-Tingling sensation

-Redness (That means the soap is working)

-Tight feeling

-Micro peeling on the 3rd to the 5th day

Don’t be alarmed if you experience these because it is temporary. Avoid too much exposure to sun or use sun protection products to see faster results.

Review/result:

**Please take note that I’ve used this last August-September.

*1 bar of soap lasted for a month.

*Already consumed 2 bars of soap for my face and body.

Pros:

- Visibly lightens my skin in a month of use

- Creamy white glow on the skin

- No breakouts

- Doesn’t easily dissolve

- I love the papaya scent

- No peeling

Cons:

- A bit drying on my skin

- Didn’t lighten my blemishes

- A bit of tingling sensation at the first few days of use

Verdict: After using 2 bars of SCT Gluta Kojic Ultra Soap for my face and body, I say that I really love the creamy white glow result it gave on my skin especially on my body. They claim that one may experience micro peeling but glad I didn’t experience only. I do have an acne prone and sensitive skin so I’m glad I didn’t experience any breakouts. 1 bar of soap is already good for a month of use to I think My only concern is that my skin feels a little dry right after use. Also, it didn’t lighten my blemishes though it made my body whiter than my tone before. This soap is effective and this soap is one of my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SKIN WHITENING soaps in the market 😊
