During our Lamp Quarters Marikina food crawl, for the last stop,
we visited Wingfathers Wings &
Booze.
Lamp Quarters is one of the newest
food hub opened at the famous Gil Fernando Avenue (a long
strip in Marikina full of restaurants and food hubs). With the tag
line, “Live. Love. Local”, the owners of Lamp Quarters want to
create a venue and environment that gives opportunities for local, up and
coming, talented entrepreneurs and starters to showcase their talents and
craftmanship in the community.
Wingfathers
Wings & Booze offers a perfect blend of crafted
drinks, delectable food and well-curated music tucked within the relaxing confines
of Lamp Quarters. Their menu offers plethora of bold and gritty renditions to
classic culinary favorites.
Place is very laid back, chill and I personally love the bar
facing a huge window with a perfect view outside. I think it’s a perfect place
to eat and drink with your friends.
One will be indulging to their mouth-watering foods especially
the Capone or Aligue Wings with Kesong
Puti Aioli (Php230) which I personally LOVE! It was creamy and tasty as if
it’s calling me to finish it all! Though make sure to drink lots of water while
eating this. Haha
The Corleon (Php230) or Boy
Bawang Crusted Wings with Red Pepper Aioli were also tasty and I think it’s
a perfect “pulutan” with an alcoholic drink.
The Phillychanga or
Philly Cheese Steak Chimichanga (Php195) is a lightly fried flour tortilla
stuffed with thinly sliced beef steak, smothered with oozing melted cheese and
freshly made salsa. A bit heavy for my small
stomach so half of this already made me full.
Here is their specialty crafted beers and alcoholic drinks.
Overall, I really had fun pigging out and trying different booze
from Wingfather. The food and ambiance is perfect for my long-awaited chill
nights. Wingfather is definitely something
you can’t miss when you visit Lamp Quarters. Highly recommended to try! 😊
