Lippies are now my thing but I don’t know why. There’s always
something about lipsticks that makes me so obsessed on buying one. Haha It was
then last year when I first started collecting lipsticks and I tell you.. I
usually don’t use them because I’m just soo obsessed with hoarding and keeping
them on my makeup box. Haha But on lazy days, I usually wear bb cream and just
lip color because I believe that lipsticks or lip color makes a statement to
your whole look.

about my intro about my lipstick obsession but I’m here to talk about my current fave lip brand and color which
is the Blair Cosmetics. I’m not sure
if you’re already familiar with the brand but I’ve heard them last year through
bloggers and vloggers I’ve been following. Also, I always see their posts on my
feeds that why I got so curious on why this brand have lots of positive
feedbacks.
Blair Cosmetics introduced their
lippies last year (2016) with their Matte
Lipsticks and Matte Waterproof Lip Addictions. I got a chance to try both
but for this review I will share with you my thoughts on their Be The Statement Bold & Matte Lippie in Maeve and Darcy
shade.
Product Info: Blair Cosmetics Be
The Statement Bold & Matte Lippie has an ultra -creamy formula with soft
and smooth finish.
Packaging: Comes in a black box
with product info. The shade is written at the bottom park of the box. The
lippie itself comes in a black and gold lipstick bullet case.
Weight: 6ml/.2 oz
Price: Php799 at Cheska’s
Store
Scent: Smells like a
regular lipstick
Shades: Wide variety if
shades but I got mine in Maeve (nude
pink) and Darcy (bright red)
Formula/Texture: Buttery, creamy and
easily glides on the lips. Formula is hydrating to the lips.
Longevity: Was able to use the
product for 9 hours
Finish: Claims to have a
matte finish but I felt it was more of a satin finish. For a matte finish, just
pat a tissue on your lips.

Pros:- Moisturizing and hydrating on the lips
- Pigmented
- I looooove the Maeve shade specifically since it’s natural and a wearable shade for me
- Since I find the Darcy shade a bit bright for me, it’s good that I can use it for an ombre lips instead
- Wide range of shades to choose from
- Handy and unique packaging
Cons:- Shade is only written on the box and not on the lipstick case
- Can easily transfer
- Can be a bit pricey for some
- Available online
Verdict: Same as their Lip
Addictions (lip lacquer), this is another
good product from Blair Cosmetics. Particularly, I loooove the Maeve shade since it’s the FIRST/ONLY NUDE lippie that (I think) looks good on me. Haha I have
a small lips so I really find it hard to look for a good nude lippie that will
suit me that why I think this Maeve shade from Blair Cosmetics has really one-of-a-kind shade(s). Not only that,
both shades are pigmented so I won’t
have to swipe that much. They may easily transfer but I love that these lippies
are very moisturizing and hydrating on the lips. It has a satin finish so I
prefer to dab a tissue on my lips after applying the lipstick for a matte
finish. Overall, I highly recommend
these lippies (especially the Maeve shade) :)
