On a daily basis, I usually use makeups but I never really paid much attention on the sunscreen that I use especially on my foundations. But with the heat and sun hitting our skin, especially on our face, one must really use a very good sunscreen to protect the skin.
The harmful UV rays may actually cause sunburn, photo sensitivity, wrinkles and even cancer!! So imagine going out without any protection from the sun.
So recently, I was sent by Cheska's Store with one of their best selling products. Lemme introduce to you the Snow Skincare Ultra Light Perfect Foundation Sunscreen SPF50 PA+++. It is also from the same makers of the famous Snow Skincare Aura Whitening Booster Mask which I made a review last month.
So what is this Snow DD cream or Snow Skincare Ultra Light Perfect Foundation?
"It is a beauty innovation with a perfect combination of sunscreen, foundation and intensive moisturizer. You can use Ultra-Light Perfect Foundation Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++ every day. Once applied on your facial skin, you can enjoy your outdoor activity with confidence."
So what is a DD cream?
Dd cream stands for"disguise and diminish" or daily defense.It focuses on anti-aging, SPF and hydration. It is a 3-in-1 skincare that is good to use as a moisturizer and a sunscreen. As well as, it also perfect for everyday use as this can also be used as a foundation. It can be used daily for natural, bright and clear skin. Nice right?
How to Use: Apply over your face and neck 30 minutes before being under the sun. Repeat every two hours when in the sun.

Consistency: Foundation type
Shades: No shade indicated, one shade only. I find the shade a bit light for my skin tone.
Color: Light Yellow cream / with yellow undertone
Scent: The scent of this foundation reminded me of the smell when you enter a salon/parlor. Scent is very tolerable and you won't even smell it when it is already applied on your face.
When applied: (1 layer only)
- My minimal blemishes on my cheeks part are gone while you still see my pimple and some pimple marks on my nose area.
Coverage:
- Medium to Heavy coverage. With one layer, this foundation was able to cover my minimal blemishes except for my current pimple. I was really AMAZED on how this foundation was able to cover up well my blemishes. It seems like my blemishes was all gone! Haha And surprisingly, this foundation is made my skin pore less.
Longevity: I was only able to try wearing this Snow DD Cream for 9 hours. Take note, I do have an oily skin. I was able to use and try this dd cream with my Maybelline foundation powder.

**After 6 hours, the dd cream was still okay on my face though oil can already be seen on my T-zone.
**After 9 hours, I was feeling greasy already so I had to blot up.
Usually, I use 4-5 blotting paper but surprisingly, I was only able to use 3 blotting paper to wipe of the oil on my face. After blotting, the dd cream kinda wear off already, especially on my nose part (as you can already see my pimple).

Pros:
- matte, powdery finish
- very light weight

Cons:
- the minimal scent that reminded me of parlor/salon
- one shade only
- the shade is a bit light for me
What I think about the product:I love love love this product a lot. I like that one layer is already enough to cover up my blemishes (except for my pimple of my nose part which is already given). This comes in 1 shade only and a bit light for me so I recommend this to fair skin girls. This is also totally recommended with those who has oily skin as the this Snow DD Cream gives off that matte and powdery finish. I also like that my pores were minimized when I used this. With the foundation equipped with SPF50++, I think this is a perfect must have especially this summer. A foundation and a sunscreen in one, definitely a perfect combination needed for that summer flawless look.

As you all know, I'm more of a lip tint user rather than lipstick. But today, I'll be sharing with you another product that changes my perspective on lipsticks.
We all know the famous Naturactor brand since the Cover Face foundation became a-must-have-makeup a few years ago. Then a few weeks ago, Cheska's Store were so generous enough to send me box of products to try and along with it is this Naturactor Magical Lipstick. Honestly, I'm not quite familiar with this magical lipsticks from Naturactor so I made a research for reviews in this product but haven't seen any. Well that's one of the reason I really wanna try and test this lippies.
So say hello to Naturactor Magical Lipstick which may not look like what it seem but hey, the shades are really pretty. Why is that? So lemme introduce to you first what this product is.
According to their website, "They don't call it magical for nothing. This magical lip colour works according to your body chemistry and therefore creates a long lasting, personalized colour for your lips. It moisturizes the lips and thus prevents dry chapped lips."
Ingredients:
Castor Oil - it allows lipstick to remain shiny after it dries
Jojoba Oil - is a pure natural plant extract, which penetrates and moisturizes your skin without leaving any oily residue. It treats skin condition and soothes skin irritations.
Ceresin - is an ointment used for minor burns, dry and chapped skin.

Shades: This Naturactor Magical Lipstick comes in 6 shades but I was only given 5 shades (no shade #2)

- It may all look the same but in person it's really different. Can't find a good lighting to show you that all shades are different from each other. And one thing, I really had a hard time wipping the product off my lips as it's like a lip tint that just sticks on your lips forever. Haha So yup, this product is very long lasting, I tell youuuu!! Haha
- My fave shade is #4 as it gives off that nice pinkish red tone. I love those kind of shades.
Pros:
- Long lasting
- The color changes as your body temperature varies
- Personalized color
- Fragrance free
- Mositurizes the lips
- Suitable for all skin types
- 6 shades to choose from
Cons:
- Packaging is very simple (I want a cuter packaging! Haha)
- A bit pricey for some (buy hey, look at the ingredients and this has a natural essences)
Verdict: Surprisingly, I actually love this product a lot. It reminds me on my everyday lip tint which are very long lasting. I also like that it moisturizes my lips well as I can already skip the part of using a lip balm just to moisturize my lips. This also reminds me of the magic rings we used to wear as this lippies matches your body temp. I can actually see myself using this everyday.

If you've been reading my blog posts, some of you may notice that I always say that my skin is far from perfect. I do have lots of stubborn scars, blemishes and pimple marks ever since then. I'm not really into whitening especially for my face as I am very contented with the color of my facial skin. But then, my worries are my blemishes which are product of my monthly breakouts.

What I think about the product:
After using this product for a week (daily use), I think this product made my blemishes a bit lighter. I know it's just been a week but I tell you, it already made my face brighter and whiter. I do have oily face so I prefer to use this every night since it's get a bit sticky when used during the day. (Weather in the PH is so hot nowadays). But if you have dry skin, you can use this during the day. The results are very positive so I'm still looking forward for other improvements after I finish using the product. :)
