For years, I have lived having an oily and acne prone skin. Having this kind of skin makes it hard for me to try new products in an instant. That is why it takes me time to try, create and share a final review.
Today, I will share with you a hype product that made a huge difference on my skin. With all the retinols in the market I chose the product from the brand Cosrx as they are known to have products suited for acne skin. Also, because I've known this brand for many years and I really helped A LOT on my acne journey.

Weight: 20ml Price: Php 725 (I got it HERE)
Consistency is like a normal cream. It feels moisturizing upon application (non sticky) and it is easily absorbed by the skin. After a minute or 2, the cream feels light on the skin which is perfect for oily skin.
HOW TO USE: I got this from the Cosrx website (also indicated in the leaflet inside the box and this is the guide I used while slowly incorporating the retinol on my skincare routine)
START SMALL AND SLOW!
• After using essence or serum, pat a small amount using your ring finger. Apply evenly over the face, neck, and onto parts with wrinkle concerns.
• Limit initial use to three times per week; gradually increase frequency to every other night, use as tolerated.
* Have an ‘adaption period’ when using retinol
WEEK 1~2
• Frequency : use every other day at night
• How to Use : After cleansing, at the moisturizer step, apply a small amount to areas of concern. • e.g. under eyes, mouth, forehead and neck
(Recommended amount : 0.1ml per section / 1 grain of rice)
WEEK 3~
• Frequency : may apply everyday at night
• How to use : After cleansing, at the moisturizer step, may spread over the entire face.
* The "building tolerance" phase can be shortened or extended depending on individual differences. * Maintain this phase until no discomfort is experienced.
* Gradually increase frequency and areas of application.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
I've used this product for about 3-4 months now (currently using it now - April 2023). I slowly incorporate this on my skincare routine by using tiny layer on my skin - mostly on my T-zone. I used this for 1-2x in a week (usually every 3 days) for about 2 weeks. I noticed that it immediately made my skin dry on the morning after I wash my face. I had a dry and slight peeling for about 2 days which I really like as it helped lessen the oil on my skin. On the 3rd week of use, I started to use the product for 2x in a week (I had it scheduled every Monday and Wed/Thurs) for another 2 weeks. On the 2nd month, I use it every 2 days then on the 3rd week of the 2nd month, mostly every other day. Now, I still experience slight drying and peeling of the skin although it was more dry during the first few weeks of use - it is as if my skin gotten use to the product. I like that it really helped to lessen the oil on the skin and helps prevent and treats pimples if I have one. It doesn't 100% prevent pimples because I still have occasional pimples but it helps to lessen and easily dries up the pimples. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to acne, oily and sensitive skin like mine. Super effective to prevent acne and oil build up. (Bought this with my own money).
