Having a whiter and even white skin tone has been my dream of all time. I have an acne prone skin and been taking anti pimple treatments since teenager. These treatments made my sheds off layers of the skin thus making my face whiter than the rest of my body. I started to use whitening soaps in 2012 to help lighten my body skin tone. Last year, Cheska's Store was kin enough to send me one their best selling products which is the Misumi Bihaku Wonder Bleach which many raved about.  I remembered getting lots of queries when I first posted this whitening product on my socials. So let me go ahead and share if this product would make you wonder if it's really effective or not.

Misumi Bihaku Wonder Bleach aims to improve skin imperfections such as pimples, blackheads, whitehead, prickly heat, dark spots, freckles, pigmentation, pregnancy marks and other skin discoloration that may cause by sun exposure and aging. With excellent formulation using only 100% active and safe ingredients, it will delight the senses and leave your skin softer, younger and fairer.

Ingredients: Niacinamide, Stearyl Alcohol, Cethyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Sodium lauryl sulfate, Glutathione, Collagen, Vitamin A, C and E, aloe vera extract, jojoba oil, grapeseed extract, tea tree extract and rosehip oil

Packaging comes in a white huge tub. 1 tub is 300g and priced for Php500 at Cheska's Store.

The scent smells like bubblegum which I really love! Consistency is cream, non - runny.

How to Use: Clean the skin before applying bihaku wonder bleach. Put an ample amount of bleach to your desired are and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse with fresh water. For best results, start with one application then gradually increase to three times daily if needed. Reduce application when peeling occurs.

Result:

*I started to use this last January 2018
*I use this once a day for 3-4x a week (I only use this during rest days since I'm always in a rush when I go to work)
*Only used this for my body
*I apply a thin layer of the product using a spatula and brush to spread on the dry skin (mostly on my neck, arms and legs) and leave it for 15-20 mins while I play Mobile Legends. haha
*I use my d-i-y Epsom salts with essentials oils (I got from Couchwasabi's Love Is In The Air Essential Oils event last February) to scrub the product. (Recommended to use this!!)
*Felt a cooling sensation after the product was applied.

Watch my video review on my Youtube Channel below:

Pros:
- Made my skin visibly lighter after use
- Soft and smooth skin (especially when you use the d-i-y Epsom salt)
- Permanent skin whitening
- Bubblegum scent
- Cooling sensation
- A little goes a long way (I only apply thin layer)
- No peeling effect on my skin (maybe because I only use this 3-4x in a week)
- Huge tub
- Affordable

Cons:
- Not travel friendly

In 3-4 months of using this, already half way done with this tub and I'm glad that I'm seeing the permanent whitening result on my skin. My goal is to make my body skin tone closer to my facial skin tone and I'm slowly seeing those effects. I do recommend using an Epsom salt to scrub the bleach after to easily remove the product and makes your skin soft and smooth as well. I think it's affordable too given that 1 tub will really last long. I read that it can cause micro peeling and when experienced, one must only use this at 2x a week. Though I didn't experienced any micro peeling maybe because I only use this for 3-4x a week. Currently still using this one and I'll make an update again when I see other results.

Been meaning to try this product out last year but it was only then last January 2018 when I got a chance to try the Maybelline Fit Me! Matte Poreless Foundation. I've already bought this during the sale around June or July last year but only tried it lately.

Since 2009, my everyday makeup consist of BB cream since I fear using a foundation for everyday use. I fear that my skin won't be able to breathe enough if I use foundation or fear that it may cause pimple breakouts since I'm used to using BB cream for 10 years!! I remembered the hype of this foundation last year since a lot of beauty gurus recommend this especially for oily skin type. Got so curious so I bought one for myself. Let's now find out if it really works well.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte Poreless Foundation is a lightweight foundation that refines the pores and leaves a natural, seamless finish.

The packaging comes in a sturdy 30ml clear glass bottle without pump. I find it hard to dispense the product as sometimes it may become to messy and prone to spillage. Regular price is Php399 but I got during the sale for Php250.

The scent is like a normal foundation.

I believe they have a wide range of shades released in the Philippines and got mine in 120 Classic Ivory. I've heard that this foundation oxidizes so I got this lighter shade. It matches my skin upon application.

It provides light to medium build able coverage. Since I use this as an everyday makeup, I usually apply 1 layer then use a concealer to cover my blemishes.

The consistency is runny though application is very smooth and easy. I prefer using a sponge applicator for this foundation.

Finish is semi matte and powdery. It gives of a natural look perfect for everyday use.

Longevity: I use this foundation for my work everyday. Oil starts to build up after 2-3 hours so I blot and retouch. Before I end my 8 hour shift, the foundation already feels heavy and look cakey. Take note that I use my holy grail primer, Quicfx No Shine Mattifier as a primer and I'm working in an air conditioned environment.

Pros:
- Light to medium coverage
- Perfect for everyday use
- Easy to apply
- Semi matte finish
- Natural finish
- Build able coverage
- Light weight
- Wide range of shades for every skin tone
- Affordable drugstore foundation

Cons:
- No pump
- Oil starts to build up on my nose after 2-3 hours
- Needed few retouches
- Poor coverage (still need a concealer for blemishes)

Even though it doesn't control well the oil on my face (even if with a primer), I still love using this as an everyday foundation. Not only it is affordable but it like that if feels light on my skin. Though I think this foundation is recommended for dry to normal skin.
Today’s review will be about HSP Natural Intensive Moisturizing Soap which I used last January to February for my body. Even though I have an oily skin, my body has a dry skin instead. Lotions and moisturizing soaps are a must for me to keep my skin hydrated and soft.

HSP Natural Intensive Moisturizing Soap is an all-natural, organic and anti-aging soap which soothes and nourishes the skin. It prevents and helps diminish stretch marks and softens dead skin spots. By the way, they’re FDA approved (even if you look up online).

*Key Ingredients: Goat Milk with Vitamin A

The soap is sealed in a plastic and the product description can be clearly read. The color of the soap as it made of goat’s milk, shea butter, aloe vera, cucumber and argan oil. These are known to be the best moisturizing agents to keep moisture and freshness locked on your pores.

The price is Php149 for 135g. They’re soap doesn’t dissolve easily so this would last for about 2 months even with everyday use.

How to Use: I use this as a daily soap for my body and leave it for 15-20 minutes.

Pros:
-Made my skin very moisturized
-Mild on the skin
-Doesn’t dissolve easily
-No irritations
-Affordable

Cons:
-None

Verdict: Sorry for the lack of photo of the result since the effects are subjective rather. The soap made my skin smoother and hydrated after use. I love how it is moisturizing my skin and keeping it baby soft. I think every skin type can use this as a body soap and can also be used as a facial soap for dry skin.

Having an acne prone and oily skin has been my problem since teenage years. The peak of pimple breakouts came when I was 16 years old and just graduated from high school. Huge pimples popped every now on then until my confidence really got low. It came to a point where I fear going outside though good thing it was a summer vacation.

Growing up with this type of skin is hard as I tried to look for the perfect skincare products to help me control my acne. I went to a lot of dermatologist and tried a lot of products just to control the breakouts. There are products that worked for me for a while until my skin get used to it and comes the time when I breakout again and look for a new product that would suit my skin. For more than a year, I didn’t have that much worries about my pimples anymore since it’s already controlled.  Even though I’m already way past teenage years (late 20’s now), I still get HUGE-pimple-breakouts especially when it is the time of the month or if I’m stressed just like last year.

A perfect time to try the HSP Anti-Bacterial Soap which is an all-natural and organic soap that claims to help prevent pimples. I’ve used their Advance Natural Skin Lightening and even their shampoo and conditioner and I truly love their products. By the way, they’re FDA approved (even if you look up online).

The HSP Anti-Bacterial Soap helps to eliminate bacteria, cleanses the skin, heals external wounds and helps vanish skin irritation. It also claims to help vanish scars or blemishes. This can be used by men and women.

*Key Ingredients: Tea Tree Extract, Lemon Grass Extract, Acapulco Extract, Guava Extract, Emu Extract.

The soap is sealed in a plastic and the product description can be clearly read. The color of the soap is green because of its active ingredients such as tea tree extract, lemon grass extract, Acapulco extract, guava extract and emu extract.

It has a light citrus scent which I really love.

The price is Php149 for 135g. And I tell you, their soap will last long since it’s doesn’t dissolve easily.

How to Use: I wash my face using this soap 2x a day and leave it for 1-2 minutes.

Review/result:
-I really had a bad breakout due to stress last December and that’s the time I started to use this.
-I started to use the soap on the first week I started having 2-3 pimple breakouts already
-And when I say breakouts, it’s HUGE BREAKOUTS!!!
-The photo below defines how bad my skin is when I’m having pimple breakouts.
-So sorry for the photo

Watch my video review on my Youtube Channel below:

Pros:
-Easily cleared up my pimple breakouts fast
-Lessened the appearance of blemishes in a month (given that huge pimples!!)
-Dries up pimples FAST!
-No irritations
-Affordable (given that you can use the soap for 2-3 months)

Cons:
-Just a tiny tingling sensation at first
-Strong scent

Verdict: The after photo speaks for itself. Haha After 1-2 months of using (currently still using it) this soap, I’m HIGHLY IMPRESSED with how it easily cleared up my pimple breakout in a month of use. It even lightens my blemishes as if I didn’t have huge pimples on that area. I still experience minimal breakouts (hormonal I guess) which easily dries up fast. I know my skin is still far from perfect since I still have blemishes though I like that this soap helping me get rid of those. I’m really glad this product worked well on my sensitive and acne prone skin. Overall, of course I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying out this product for those who have acne prone skin like mine.
