Yes, I’m back again with an oral glutathione review for this year. It’s been a month now since I first tried Mosbeau Placenta White Advance White last December 19, 2016 from Cheska’s Store.

**Actually, I do get lots of querries about oral glutathione or sometimes, people ask why I still take gluta or whitening products when in fact I’m already fair skinned. Just for the record, I have no issues with trying out and reviewing products for you guys so I have consent to take these products and share my opinions on my blog and Youtube channel. Kk? :)

Also, (not to brag or whatsoever), I was already born with a fair skin to begin with. My face may appear fairer than my body, arms or legs since I use derma products only on my face (which usually has a whitening effect). Currently, I’m using whitening soaps for my body to help me even out my skin tone.

So let’s get started.

Product Info: Mosbeau Placenta White Advanced is a whitening food supplement from Japan which consists of 10 main ingredients.

Horse Placental Protein (360mg) - Promotes skin whitening, anti-aging and skin renewal
Fish collagen (320mg) - Reverses skin aging and visibly removes fine lines and other unsightly signs of increasing age.
Vitamin C (32mg) - Aids in skin whitening, combats aging and protects skin against free radicals
Soy Isoflavones (8mg) - Promote healthier and right balance of hormones
Rose Petal Extracts (2mg) - Contains anti-allergic and anti-atopic properties
Hyaluronic Acid (4mg) - Keeps the skin hydrated, moisturized and even more youthful looking
Glycine - A non-essential amino acid that helps trigger the release of oxygen to the energy requiring cell-making process
Elastin (12mg) - keeps skin hydrated, moisturized and even more youthful looking
Japan Patented Marine Placental Protein (16mg) - Aids in skin whitening, anti-aging and skin cell renewal
Silk Powder (8mg) - Revitalizes the skin and gets rid of skin imperfections like wrinkles, acne scars and sunspots

Packaging: The product comes in a box. Caplets are placed on a white bottle.

Weight: 650mg with 120tablets

Price: Php2800 at Cheska’s Store

How To Use: Take 4 tablets a day

Results:
- I started taking Mosbeau Placenta White along with Meiji Amino Collagen powder last Dec 19, 2016.

- Ideally, one must take 4 capsules a day but I only took 2 capsules (both at the same time) everyday.
- Since I have a shifting schedule at work, I’m not that particular with the specific time to take the caplets, as long as I take it every day
- Was able to notice the minimal effects on the 4th week on intake
*Btw, please take not of this. Usually, I have read & heard different comments about the effects of this on each individual. And to begin with, I have fair skintone and we may achieve different results depending on our current skintone.

Watch my video review on my Youtube Channel below:

Pros:
- Glowy, dewy, radiant skin
- Soft and smooth skin
- No side effects for me
- Food supplement

Cons:
- Taking 4 capsules a day is a hassle for me :(

- A bit pricey for some

Verdict: After a month of using this product, honestly, I wasn’t that impressed with the product (when it comes to whitening) maybe because I was expecting too much. I’ve also read numerous reviews about this and there were mix reviews about this. When it comes to whitening, I didn’t see much difference on my tone. Though the elasticity of my skin did improve a little, in a month of use. My skin is a bit brighter but not that noticeable. I also like that this is a food supplement which means additional vitamins for my body.

Will I recommend this? A yes and a no.. Actually depends. We all have different body which means different effects on each individual. This may not work that much for me but it may work for you.

Is it worth it? If you a money to splurge, then yes why not :)

Already on my late 20’s, I knew it isn’t too late to take care of my skin especially that I can already feel some signs of aging. Haha A few prior to this, I remembered the first time I tried collagen drink and amazed by its effect. I was also surprised to know that some of my co-workers were also taking or drinking collagen as a supplement for the skin.

According to my research, collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It is responsible for giving the skin elasticity, strength in hair and connective tissues its ability to hold everything in place.

Due to aging, our body’s natural collagen production declines in line with different lifestyle factors like stress, diet, etc. Studies shows that those who take collagen daily vs those who don’t, appears younger than those who do not. Suggested daily dose of collagen is 5000mg/day.

Collagen helps to:
- Improves Skin & Hair
- Repairs joints
- Helps leaky gut
- Boots metabolism
- Strengthens teeth and nails
- Helps detox
- Reduces cellulite/stretch marks

Product Info: Meiji Amino Collagen is a food supplement that helps the skin to become softer and smoother. It also helps to brighten and tighten the skin by reversing the clock of skin aging. It revitalizes the skin cells from within thus making your skin more youthful and radiant. Studies shown improvements in skin appearance, elasticity and texture of skin, plus health benefits to bone, joints and muscles.

Key features:
✔Daily dose contains 5000mg of collagen and 80mg of glucosamine
✔Marine collagen is absorbed 50% better than collagen from other animal sources
✔Easy to take - the odorless, tasteless powder mixes easily into your favorite drink

Packaging: I got mine in can though I know there is also a refill bag for this.

Weight: 200g

Price: Php1,390/can & good for 28days

Scent: Based on what I read, mostly says that it has a fishy scent. For me, it smells like a powdered gelatin.
Taste: No fishy taste for me but it has a weird-can’t-explain-after-taste. I also noticed that when I mix it with my hot/warm coffee, the weird taste seems to be a bit tolerable for me to drink. Just talk about #TiisGanda.

How To Use:
Add 1 scoop (7g) if Meiji Amino Collagen in your favorite beverage (e.g. cocoa, coffee, juice, soup, yogurt, tea) before going to sleep. Easily dissolved powder. Can be used on hot or cold drinks.

Results:
- Was able to try this for 28 days (almost a month) together with Mosbeau Placenta White Advanced caplet.
- Results was felt from within rather than seen physically
- My skin was more plumper and tighter
- Mas "blooming daw" according to some of my friends

Watch my video review on my Youtube Channel below:

Pros:
- The effects are individually felt from within rather than physical (get it?)
- Noticed that my skin was plumper and tighter
- Gave me a nice glow (blooming daw! Haha)
- Some blemishes fades faster than before
- Easily dissolves on my drink
- I consider this as a supplement which is good for the body and skin
- No side effects

Cons:
- “weird” after taste (tolerable naman)
- Pricey
- Can be purchased online

- Constant use of this product is a must for better and long term effects

Verdict: After a month of using this product, I can say the Meiji Amino Collagen Powder is promising as I can already start to see and feel the effects of collagen on my skin in a month of use. Pls don’t expect a huge change in a month of use since I believe that constant use of this product is a must to achieve the desired outcome. What I really like about this one, though effects are not that physically obvious, I know and I feel that the positive effects are felt from within. Also, I think of this product as a supplement and vitamins used for my skin and body. For the taste, there is a weird after taste to it which is tolerable but I recommend dissolving it with hot drinks rather than cold ones.

Will I recommend this one? YES, I highly recommend this one to everyone as I believe that one must take care of their skin from within at an early age. It’s actually a good investment for the skin and body.

It’s been a while since I last visited Lilac Street in Marikina. So a few weeks ago, while we were looking for a new place to eat, we came across a newly opened restaurant, Bigaw’s Brick Oven Pizza.

Bigaw’s Brick Oven Pizza offers pizza, pasta and beers. Place is very spacious and one can choose to dine on their indoor or outdoor area. Maybe just a little improvement on the design of the place to make it catchy especially to those who pass by. Parking maybe a bit tricking as small parking space (good for 3-4 cars, I guess) can accommodate the area.

Btw, here’s the menu that I got from their restaurant: (click photo to enlarge)

**You can also order food from Crepeman Lilac as the have the same owners as per their staff

Here’s what we ordered:

Crispy Chicken Caesar Fingers (Php145)
“Parmesan crusted chicken tenders with romaine lettuce tossed in zesty Caesar dressing”
-       The chicken fingers were truly crispy and juicy on the inside. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy.

Angus Burger Pizza (Php200)
“US Angus beef with cheese and barbeque sauce”

-       One of their best sellers (and we also think it is the BEST SELLER), this Angus burger pizza didn’t fail our taste buds. The beef was cooked well and the barbeque taste compliments well. I really can’t exactly explain the taste but trust me, its one-a-kind best pizza flavor ever! Did I say that the pizza bread they used was thick and serving size is good for 2-3 persons. Worth it for the price!

Taco Pizza (Php190)
“Mexican spiced ground beef served with sour cream and shredded lettuce”

-       Also one of the best sellers, this taco pizza really tastes exactly as a tacos but in pizza formed. Also, yummy and tasty.

Baked Penne (Php140)
“Penne pasta baked with cheese sauce and bacon”

-       I think this is also one of their BEST SELLERS!! As a pasta and cheese lover, one would definitely LOOOOOVE this dish. Just imagine a baked penne pasta topped with oozing cheese! They really gave us huge amounts of cheese for this. Cheesey, delish and maybe good for 1-2 persons. Price is worth it! J

Overall, we really had a great time dining in here. Their specialty of pizza really makes them stand out from the rest of the restaurants in Lilac St.  So if you’re looking for a good pizza place to bring your family and friends, with an affordable price(s), I HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining at Bigaw’s Brick Oven Pizza.
