Being a girl and having a dysmenorrhea monthly can be difficult. I started to experience dysmenorrhea or painful menstrual cramps when I was in high school and sadly, I still experience it up until now. Most of the time, these painful cramps interfere my daily life. I have an extremely low pain tolerance and experiencing these cramps makes me want to just lay down and rest all day. I can’t function well on these days so eventually I managed these pains with pain killers. Imagine being on pain killers for every month for more than 10 years?! I try my best to avoid taking pain killers because I fear that it can damage my kidneys and liver in the future.

Ever heard of NEGATIVE IONS? A few years ago, I’ve heard a product that promises to help prevent dysmenorrhea and other illnesses with its negative ions. These ions are created in nature by the effects of water, air, sunlight and the Earth's inherent radiation. It also helps to eliminate airborne pollutants, dust, cigarette smoke, pet dander, pollen, mold spores, viruses, and bacteria from the air. It even helps with the persons mood and physical health.

Glad that I recently K-Pads Napkin from JC Premiere which is the first anti-dysmenorrhea napkin which has anion capabilities. The embedded negative ion strip can increase energy, enhance immunity, regulate, lessen heavy periods, balance hormones, mood and kill bacteria causing odor. It also has 8 layers to prevent any leakage during heavy menstrual period. It helps to reduce irritation and removed odor.

According to them, it may help to prevent and cure: UTI, Myoma, Dysmenorrhea, Vaginal Odor, Hormonal Imbalance, Endometriosis, Hemorrhoids, Inflammation, Viral and Bacterial Infections and Cervical Cancer.

I got the Day Pads which can hold up to 120-150 ml of liquid and is 240mm in length with wings. It has 10 slim pads.

Since the pads are slim, I used the pads during my 1st and 2nd day of period. I noticed a cooling sensation upon using the napkin that lasted for about 30 minutes. It was very uneasy and weird at first but then I find it more soothing eventually. I still experienced menstrual pain and the cooling sensation “down there” helped to relieve the pain. I still had menstrual pains but more tolerable compared before.

It comes with a Vagina Health Self-Test Card.

I suggest using it at the first few days of the period (normal period) as the napkin tends to get soaked easily during heavy days. During heavy days, I noticed that I had to change the pads every 2-3 hours. Maybe because the negative ions attract the blood thus making the period heavier. You can also use it during the last few days of the period, but I prefer using it for the first few days instead as the negative ion helps with the prevention of menstrual pain.

You can check out the video review I made on my Youtube channel below:

I’ve only tried these pads a month ago and so far, I’m glad that it helped me with the menstrual pain. I still use pain reliever for my period a month ago since it doesn’t completely stop the pain. Though it aids with the management and relief of the pain.

K-pads are priced for Php398. . It might be pricey but given the benefits plus how it helped managed dysmenorrhea, I think it’s worth to try.

Lipstick or any lip color will always be my favorite makeup of all time. I can bravely go out in bare face but I can't without any lip color on. Being a lip tint girl, it was only then in 2016 when I started buying lipstick for myself. And I hoarded a lot!! Obsessed with lipsticks, imagine how excited I was when I received ALL the shades from the newest liquid lipstick line! Say hello to Beaublends Matte Liquid Lipstick in 10 different shades.

Beuablends is a local online shop/brand which started 3 years ago here in the Philippines. They offer skincare, whitening products and glad that they now have their own makeup line starting with their metallic liquid lipstick which launched early this year and now their matte liquid lipsticks. They are parabe -free, mercury-free, lead-free and FDA approved.

"Focused actives / Maximum efficacy. We take pride in making products that are effective yet economical. We involve ourselves in the full cycle of product development from conceptualization, formulation, manufacturing and distribution."

Their Matte Liquid Lipsticks are the next of on their cosmetic line and is buildable, light weight and wearable. They come in 10 different shades.

The packaging comes in a plastic but sturdy tube and I like the rose gold or gold handle. The shade can be seen at the bottom part. While the applicator is the usual doe foot applicator. It has an expiration and batch date too.

Please take note that all of their products are guaranteed to be mercury, paraben, lead and retoic acid free.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Silica, Silica Dimethly Silylate, Cellulose, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Phenoxyethanol, Vitamin E, May contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide, Lake (C115850), Iron Oxides (Cl 77492, CI 77499)

I honestly LOVE all the shades they got since I find it wearable for any skin color. I love the different shades of nude, pink and orange on this line. Application is very easy and the texture is very light or soft matte. Finish is matte though you still have to wait for 30 seconds to a minute for it dry until matte. Some shades are pigmented like the darker ones though for the light ones, you still have to apply it a few more times. Price point is good as I find it very affordable. Overall, I do recommend trying out the Beaublends Matte Liquid Lipsticks. Affordable and I love that all shades may suit every skin tone.

After going to Aninuan Beach during our 2nd day stay at Puerto Galera, we visited the famous White Beach. I’ve been to Puerto Galera twice but I never seen the White Beach during day time. Also, I wanted to explore and experience the sunset here.

We went here at around 5pm already and there were lots of people in this beach. We decided to explore the beach while waiting for the sunset and walked until the end of the strip. There’s a lot of people going to the other side so I got curious and walked that way. It looks near but it’s far! It’s even hard to walk fast since the sand is dragging my feet. At this area, I believe it’s not allowed to swim here because of the current or the waves. I badly want to swim at the White Beach but the waves were huge just like in Aninuan. Please it was windy and I really felt chilly. We decided to experience the sunset instead. Just chill by the beach and talk about life.

Sunset at the White Beach.

After that, we decided to have our dinner at Casa Mia Italiano Restaurant. I’ve been here last year and the food was great so we decided to come back here. The restaurant is located at the end side of the beach. The view is good though!

Last year, we stayed at Casa Mia Resort near Aninuan Beach. I met the owner and he’s an Italian who lives here with his family for years. He has a restaurant on their resort and in White Beach. They served legit Italian dishes.

Price are a bit expensive but hey, we don’t experience dining at an Italian Restaurant with the beach as our view while hearing the waves, right?

Here’s what we ordered:

Dishes here are made of quality ingredients and it really taste good. I’m a huge fan of pasta that’s why I love their Lasagna. It was perfectly baked and it has a lot of meat inside. The pizza is also good and huge! We didn’t finish it all! Haha I do recommend this restaurant when you visit the White Beach. Legit Italian food experience!

PARADISE!!!!!! Word, I always say whenever I remember Aninuan Beach.

Third time in Puerto Galera but I never miss the chance of visiting my favorite beach here. I first came across Aninuan Beach in June 2017, the first time I went to Puerto Galera. Aninuan Beach is the nearest beach when we stayed at Amihan Del Sol during that time. During my first visit here, I didn’t get the chance to swim here since the waves were huge and we’re 2 girls alone in the beach who doesn’t know how to swim. I got the chance swim here on my 2nd visit which was in October 2017 and good thing that the waves were calm. Went back at Puerto Galera again last June 2018 and I told myself that I need to be back here since we’re staying longer.

Went here during our 2nd day at around 3pm and it’s the perfect time to be here! Going to Aninuan Beach can be a little tricky especially if you’re unfamiliar to the place. The entrance is located at the highway with rope as the landmark. Not sure of the parking available but since we rode a motor bike going here, we parked it near the entrance. It’s safe though! Then we entered the forest going to the beach. Just follow your heart and instinct when going to this place for the first time. haha And then you’ll hear the waves and enter the Aninuan Beach.

It’s the perfect time when we went there. The sun was up and the beauty of Aninuan beach was so majestic! Same as the last time, there weren’t much people around except a group of foreigners and Filipino tour guides who didn’t really mind us plus some local passerby. So basically, we have this paradise all to ourselves!

Aninuan Beach has a very nice view of the other sea plus a mountain view on the other side.

I like that there’s usually few or no people here but you must swim at your own risk since there’s no one to look after you around. The view was great during our visit though the waves were high and washing us back at the shore. Not sure if it’s because of the wind since it was raining very hard a week prior going here.

We stayed here for about 30 minutes or so. Took some photos and chill a little bit behind a small bush together with the foreigners who were on picnic during that time. They even offer us some shots under the heat of the sun! haha

By the way, I don’t recommend staying here after sunset since there’s not much people around and you still need to walk again in the forest just to get to the highway. No electricity or lights in the area/beach. But overall, I highly recommend visiting Aninuan Beach when you visit Puerto Galera.
