When it comes to whitening, I always believe that using soaps are the most efficient, convenient and affordable way to lighten the skin. Using whitening soaps may take months before one can see the permanent results. Factors like current skin tone, duration of use and lifestyle depends on how effective these whitening soaps on every person.

A few months ago, I got a chance to try products from HSP (Herbal Soap Philippines) which guarantees 100% all natural and organic products made in the Philippines. They’re also FDA approved. A few months ago, I tried their shampoo and conditioner which I really love so I also had high hopes for their soaps.

This Advance Natural Skin-Lightening Soap claims to whiten the skin, exfoliated and makes the skin smooth. It also helps to even out tones and lessen the appearance of scars and age spots. The soap contains Papaya Extract, Arbutin Extract, Licorice Extract, Bearberry Extract, Rosehip Oil and Moringa Oil. Recommended for all skin types, even those who have sensitive skin.

Packaging: The soap is sealed when I got it and the color of the soap is orange.

Scent: Strong Papaya scent

Review/result:

- Since I do have uneven skin tone (my face is whiter than the rest of my body), I only used this one as a body soap.

- Consumed ½ bar only for this review

Pros:

-1/2 bar lasts for 2 months!!!!

- Doesn’t dissolve easily

- Visibly lightens my skin in a month of use

- Affordable

Cons:

-Very strong papaya scent

- Made my skin dry

- Not recommended for dry skin

- Tingling sensation for the first few days of use

Verdict: After 2 months of using ½ bar of HSP Advance Natural Skin-Lightening Soap, I’m HIGHLY IMPRESSED on how LONG the half of soap lasted. When it comes to duration of using a whitening soap, this is the LONGEST one! This is the ONLY SOAP which lasted that long for me. Also, this doesn’t dissolve easily so one can really maximize the use of the soap. It easily lightens my skin in a month of use. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for you to try this since it’s very affordable and you can maximize the use of the soap since this will last longer than your usual soaps. Worth it!

Having whiter and brighter skin has been my dream ever since. As you all know, I do have a fair skin but it’s far from perfect. My facial tone is much whiter than the rest of my body so I’ve been addicting into using whitening soaps for my body since a few years ago.

A few weeks ago, I got a chance to try the newest brand/product from Sample Room PH which is the Seoul White Korea which offers 2 of their products, the Double White Whitening Soap and the Instant White Tone – up Whitening Milky Cream which live up to the high K-beauty standards and promises to deliver that Korean glow. Their skin whitening line are suitable for Filipinas.

Double White Whitening Soap (90g Triple Pack – Php125)

This gentle bar combines the brightening powers of arbutin bearberry and tried-and-tested kojic acid to deliver long-term skin lightening. The precious white strawberry exfoliates skin as you cleanse, letting you enjoy a double whitening effect minus the stinging sensation.

Cleanses and moisturizes: The creamy lather draws out dirt and pollution, and gently exfoliates skin.

My thoughts: I love how fruity and milky the scent of this soap. The soap doesn’t dissolve easily meaning I can use it for a longer period. I tried using this on my face twice and so far, I didn’t have any breakouts on the product. been using this as a body soap for 1-2 weeks already and I can see the creamy glow on my skin. Price is affordable for me.

Instant White Tone-Up Cream (20g – Php299)

This lightweight, non-makeup cream packs three potent ingredients—arbutin bearberry, white strawberry, and donkey milk—in a breakthrough formula that instantly brightens skin tone upon application.

My thoughts: This cream is very lightweight and it instantly whitens my skin. By the way, I do use this on my neck to even out my skin tone. Since the tube is a bit small, I prefer using this only on special occasions or if I go out. The whitening effects are instant though it can easily be removed by washing it with water. When it comes to permanent whitening, I haven’t seen the results yet since I don’t use this every day. I believe you can achieve permanent whitening results if you constantly use this.

These past few weeks, I know I’ve been lacking updates on my social media especially on my blog and Youtube channel. (Though you can always check on my life by watching my Facebook and Instagram stories since I update it always). Been so busy with stuff lately and you know, life happens. Lately, I’ve been focusing on reconnecting with family and friends, just go with the flow and chill. Also, I don’t want to pressure myself into doing things I don’t feel like doing now. Don’t worry guys, my passion is always to write, share my thoughts and review for you guys and I know I’ll be back soon! (Like next week maybe? Haha)

Last December 8, 2017, I and my college friends since 2006 had a yearly Christmas Get Together at Discovery Suites in Ortigas. Kiseeeg is my college barkada and we've known each other for 11 years already. For the past years, we’ve been doing this get together every once in a while. This might sound weird but during these occasions, we normally just pig out, play games, watch movies and talk about life. And that’s what we did.

We rented a room at Discovery Suites. The room was perfect as it comprises of kitchen, dining area, living area, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, closet area and a huge comfort room. Which was perfect for the 6 of us.

We started the night as we ate dinner at Shakey’s in Ortigas.

We spent the rest of the night eating and just talking about life. Slept at around 3-4 am.

During the morning, I and Romeo had the opportunity to try the breakfast buffet for 2. The foods were delicious and made us full. While Rina, Grace and Jep went for a morning dip and Gen cooked for breakfast.

We spent the rest of the morning preparing and played the game, Mobile Legends with Gen at Romeo. It’s more fun playing this game with friends! Haha

After checking out, we decided to go to Rina’s house in Antipolo. We played Just Dance and watched Bad Genius movie. We all went home at around 4-5pm already as we we’re sleepy and tired already.

Having these friends for 11 years made me realized how lucky am I to have found these friends. Blessed and thankful to have them for all these years. It’s been a while since we we’re complete but I’m glad that things never really changed. Though we're not complete this time (tagging Gretchen, May and Rubulyn), we’re all still the same and going strong. Cheers to 11 years of friendship and Merry Christmas!
