Where To Stay in Tagaytay: Nordic Homes Tagaytay

During our Kiseeg's Christmas Get Together last December 7-8, 2018, we stayed at the Nordic Homes in Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residences

How to get here: We took the MRT going to Taft and rode a bus going Tagaytay for Php78/each. We ask to be drop off at Olivares. From there, you can see McDonald's and Cityland is just few steps away.
Check in time is from 2 PM to 6 PM. Check out at 12 NN. By the way, they personally welcome and assisted us going to the room.

The room we got is the Santorini Room (33.5 square meters) priced for almost Php4000/night/4 pax (prices depends of the date or season). The room can accommodate up to 6pax. It is exactly located at the 16th floor of Cityland Tagaytay Prime Residences.

The room itself is very instagrammable with the Mediterranean blue and white theme.

This room has 1 double sized bed and queen-sized sofa bed. You can ask for extra mattresses with extra linens if needed. They also provide blankets.

It has a kitchen, complete with utensils, rice cooker, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, cups, mugs, utensils, dishwasher, etc. They gave us complimentary mineral water and they also have brewed coffee on the side.

Aside from that, they also have 43" Smart TV, bluetooth speaker and chargers.

They also have a separate toilet with bidet and on the the other side, the shower with water heater. No worries since they also provide towels, soap, shampoo and tissues.

I love this cute desk station.

It also has WIFI (up to 5mbps), PS4 and NETFLIX!!!! They also have board games such as Monopoly.

They have this veranda where in you can chill and just enjoy the Tagaytay breeze and view. It's really a perfect place for a staycation.

We only stayed here for a night but the experience is truly memorable. You won't need to go out since this room has everything in it already. Glad to play the Monopoly, PS4 and also watched Netflix at night. The WIFI was a bit unstable at first but it was good all throughout or stay.

Honestly, I kind of find the price for this room a bit over my budget but looking at the amenities and how complete this room is, I find that the price is reasonable instead. The room is definitely instagrammable though I must admit, it's the expectation vs reality thing. Though, no doubt that every corner of this room is really picturesque.

Rooms for improvement: The toilet has this unpleasant smell and thorough cleaning to remove that scent is a must. The whole room also smells like it's freshly painted but it eventually goes away or maybe we got used to it.
Overall, my stay here was definitely nice and I really had a great time staying here. Recommended!
